Interesting thing is there doesn't appear to be any onramp 'handbook' handed out for newbies i'm aware of, (especially if onboarded on ones own), that could indicate lots of helpful ground rules like the self voting.. Definitely came across the proper imagery sourcing rules somewhere on my travels which is 100%, AI stuff too.

By all means if you can spare the time go for max visibility on your ruleset to help indicate the higher path of participation on Hive.. be very interesting to obtain the view of one who has been around for so long.. :)

Yes, there isn't a user handbook, and if someone writes one, it can quickly become dated. I did some posts years ago, and some of the info may be relevant but some definately is not.

With the current value of HIVE, everyone is pissed off here, so don't expect a new version soon. We just need to ride it out, the downturn.

The reputation routine is broke, something else I need to fix. Apathy rules.

Haha.. I had some hope but then.. :)

Don't suppose your Analysis Tool is on Github or similar publically visible? I'm interested in your rulesets specifically, clearly tried and tested over time, to weed out the undesireables..

As i'm going to be an Admin in this Community, https://peakd.com/c/hive-108929/trending , it would actually be super helpful in terms of advice on how to police said Community.

Myself and another founder @drakedukane (who has been kindly Trailing me for a while), now have scope to generate new Account tickets and hand out free invites to friends and other new NI ppls, so anything to help set them on a straight path at day dot would be awesome :)

I will add you to the bot as your comments tell me you are more than capable of writing something if you want to. Bear in mind your Actifit posts will get skipped but I see you have done some longer content that wont.

The bot code, will likely never see the light of day, it's something I kind of want to keep for myself... sorry.

Understandable on the Bot code, I'm not a huge fan of sharing my private software projects either. Maybe I'll write my own if I can find the time, Claude can lend an oar to speed things up 😎

Yes, it really help speed things up. The first iteration of it, I did by hand as that was before AI showed up, then I redid it using Chat and it's a LOT better now. Don't expect AI to get it all right, you still need to be able to code to polish the edges.
