Jose has gone deeply into the foundation of failure. Thanks for levitating my spirit. This is very saturating! The last part really caught me, well I'll come back to that. Trust me, this psychology is very real and true. Control and affordability is the toughest thing to balance with Disciple. Few will credit this but trust me as soon as we welcome this, the more we get freed from it.
Power should be the focus: Control, wisdom, knowledge, understanding and affordability are power in disguise
Craving for big things isn't the problem, getting in control is bad, and affordability is the worst realm to attain. But the issue can you maintain the power that comes from it. See, the discipline and experiences that come from ten years of poverty can't solve it. It will only curb it to an extent. This is where we will understand discipline have degree, the discipline that comes from experiences and sophistication is measurable. Guess, the only key that unlocked this, is to know discipline isn't achieved once or in ten years. We get more disciplined when we're intentional about it.
Power(control and affordability) comes with an illusion that the level of our discipline is okay. I have once been in this situation before when I started making it big at 25 after several failures, so I thought I was in that position where I'm the most Disciplined and strategic but, God is good, by setting a trap to learn this I'm ruled by power and the spirit of control.
Please, let me stop here cause I might write 10 pages of a book on this topic. Thanks so much Jose. This is another beautiful topic.
There are traps everywhere in life. I tell you, there's a level of arrogance that comes when one thinks they're in control. I feel that the level of discipline of everyone no matter how solid it is can only be tested by more affordability. I've seen first hand what affordability can do. Without experience, people can brag that they have control over the affairs of their life, but having excessive freedom and the will to wield it without taking cognisance of the danger of consequences can be very dangerous.
Thanks for your amazing reflection, I was equally lost in it, trying to understand your POV and allowing it to sink in.
PS: sorry for my late reply again, I'm caught up in this overwhelming commitment that's threatening my social time
Just the veracity of the whole matter, very accurate!......yeah,I totally understand. Thanks
