Best to pay in hbd. Team has to manually do something for other assets. I believe they are working on a fix.

Interesting. Yeah that's what I usually do, but had no liquid HBD so wanted to try paying in Leo instead of swapping first.

Send a ticket on discord and notify Khal that way. They have to manually set it. Your time is not elapsing, you will have 30 days from when it goes live.
