As Christians what brings about doubts in our minds is lack of faith. Absence of faith opens the door of anxiety, doubt and depression into lives. When we build our faith in Christ Jesus, it shields us and gives us a strong conviction over every negative thoughts that comes into our minds. When we give room to doubt in our Christian life, it spreads like cancer to paralyse every other spiritual defense we have built with respect to time. But our saviour and Lord Jesus Christ left us with a powerful tool to tackle doubt and anxiety while ascending to heaven. He released His peace that passeth all understanding to us His children here on earth to have and to hold against all doubts, anxieties,depression and every other devilish stronghold of the enemy. He said the kind of peace that he gives is not like the peace given to us by the world. His kind of Peace surpasses all types of peace.

We overcome doubts and anxieties as Christians by obtaining the peace of God that is readily made available by our Lord Jesus Christ. When we pray to God to give us peace on every side, we just opened the door of rest into our Christian lives.
