My Friend-Shaped Car has a fob, but the transmitter is dead and the dealer wants hundreds of dollars for a replacement. I'm used to using a key for the door anyway. It seems to me Ford and Dodge usually used a single key for both, while Chevy/GM often had a square-headed key for the ignition and a different round-headed key for the doors.

I must have had a chevy/GM because I remember the square and round keys.
