BALANCING DIETING AND EXERCISE
It's with great pleasure I wish to write on this space. For almost a week now I have been mute here due to some engagement which really halt my consistent participation. I have been up and down with some church, ministry affairs. I never knew it would take few days like this but glory to God, I am fully back now to continue from where I stopped.
My profound gratitude goes to the entire management of this precious community for their doggedness in ensuring smooth run of this sphere may the Lord continue to bless and keep you.
It's a theme that I can't afford to miss out and I told myself I must exhaust it today so that I can face other things tomorrow. There are two basic words that kept ringing in my spirit when I stumbled on this edition. Dieting and exercise are two words that personally I wouldn't want it to be separated easily due to the significant role it play in human development and healthy living. Whenever a good health condition is envisioned, definitely these words resonate and gives a good perspective on what to be done.
Dieting involves eating of good food at a required quantity for growth, development, weight loss and healthy living. There are different reasons that persuade people to act in unique ways. It's important that everyone should endeavor to identify the uniqueness in intake of food substances in our body. One man's food might be poisonous to the other that's why regulating it is very important. Dieting involves taking into cognisant the types of food and what seems to be toxic or change the body system and chemistry. Recently I have seen a very good friend of mine that suddenly engaged himself into dieting because of the nature of his body.
It happened that he has a fat body system which came up as a result of eating uncontrollably especially the fatty things. At times I wonder how he devours meat and other proteinous substances. Within a couple of months, my friend because almost times two of his original size. Kai...he became the talk of the town which made him even feel ashamed. He stumbled on a very good book that was prescribed by a professional nutritionist. She advised him to go on dieting so that he can burn some calories. He was faithful to that and suddenly within two weeks my guy dropped weight from 100kg to 70kg...this was amazing truly because even him couldn't believe it. It worked like a speed of light. Though he wasn't active in exercise.
Exercise on the other hand plays significant role too in maintaining good health. Exercise helps an individual to keep fit and maintain body balance. Exercise could also lead to loss in weight. I want to say that as you engage on dieting, try and take some exercises for balanced healthy condition. There are some individual that uses exercise as a means to loss weight while others preferred dieting however the two can be integrated which would also give a good result.
Some of the importance of dieting and exercise are;
- It helps in disease control or prevention. When the body is fit, it becomes difficult for disease to easily penetrate the body. Most of the cells will be active and the immune system as well would be boosted. It's normally rare to see someone that has a good diet and exercises well to fall sick.
- Both dieting and exercise promotes weight loss. As I shared in the case of my friend.
- It helps to increase the energy of an individual. The more you exercise yourself and eat good the more you become powerful and energetic.
Conclusion
Dieting is good as well as exercise however the synergy between the two makes one to be balanced and a healthy body.
Balancing both and Indulging in the two helps get the best result in a healthy and comfortable manner without much side effects and the likes.
