Maintaining Equilibrium Between Work And Hive

(Edited)

Finding a balance between working as a civil engineer and also being active in hive can be difficult but also rewarding.
I realized that everything is possible in life with determination and discipline.

The strategies I'm Using

The first strategy I used to maintain balance is time management. To increase productivity and succeed in your professional efforts, time must be skillfully handled.
I work for a construction firm that builds both buildings and roads.

I'm in the road section, and I'm the site Engineer handling 4 different sites. To be more productive, I resume work as early as 7 A:m.
I will arrange all necessary materials needed for the day.

Whenever my project manager sends the schedule for the week, I will rewrite it to suit my timing.
Sometimes I work till 6 Pm so that I can be free a little the next day.

How I schedule my time to blog

Whenever I get home early, I will take my time to write content or make an engagement in the hive ecosystem.
Sometimes, I used to reach home late, so I will rest and wake up early to write.

I realized it's easier for me to write early hours like 4 Am to 7 Am, so I will set my alarm to wake up early.
Although it is not an easy task, only determination can do this.

Why I'm Motivated

I'm motivated because my boss is very hardworking, he controls over 100 construction sites and he is very active online. If you leave a message for him on WhatsApp or Email. He will respond in less than 10 minutes.

He always attends meetings almost every day and he will attend to everyone's complaints.
Someone needs to be proactive in everything you are doing.

I'm not always busy through the week, there are some crucial stages in drainage construction that I don't joke with. These are excavation segments, and casting of the base level.

Base Level

After the base level, I will have some free time to relax, during this time I will focus on blogging and other stuff I'm doing online. This is a simple strategy that has been helping me to stay active on Hive.

When it reaches the wall casting, my co-workers already know that I like quality work.

I will just stay with them and monitor their mixing ratio, but I won't work too much.
I already have experienced bricklayers that also love quality work, even if I'm not around. They will do a good job.

In conclusion, to balance your offline job and an online business, you need effective time management, discipline and commitment. It will become a natural part of you and make the work easier.
