Hello EDS'ers. Today is the day we issue the EDS weekly report to keep all your guys up to date and let you know how things are going.

What are EDS tokens?

EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that pays out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total power up the balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of over 26%.

(Example of how the HIVE income pool is worked out)

• EDS is pegged to 1 HIVE per token
• 12% of over 104,000 HIVE POWER pays out (104,000*12/52.18) 240 per week
• EDS in circulation each yield (240/40,000) 0.006 HIVE per week
• 0.006 each week for 1 year (52.18) equals 0.31 HIVE
• 1 EDS pays out a HIVE income of roughly 31% per year

EDS tokens launched with a hardcap of 500,000 and a public sale of 20,000 tokens each issued for 1 HIVE each. There are 2 ways to mint new EDS tokens. 1 is by owning and staking either EDS miners (EDSM) are EDS mini miners (EDSMM) tokens and 2 is delegations HIVE POWER to @eds-vote. EDS Miners yield roughly 20% per year and EDS-vote yields around 4-5%.

EDS converts all earnings, airdrops, tribe tokens into HIVE. This account is 100% focused on powering up as much HIVE as possible. It's just that single-minded. This projects weekly saving club content is run by @shanibeer and wallet by @silverstackeruk both on behalf of SPinvest. This is a long term project and should be viewed as a token to stack up and HODL. Buy some miners, let them mint you some EDS tokens, build a pile and collect weekly HIVE dividends. In other words, buy some EDSM miners and forget about it. Add a few every week/month and watch your EDS pile grow. You can also buy EDS directly from the market, if you add a buy order for any amount at 1 HIVE each, it'll get filled. It might take a few days but it'll get filled as some miners like to sell their mining rewards right away to lock in them profits.

Let's get a look at the charts this week

EDS mintage declined a little this week, only by around 20 EDS so all good. If we can hold this current mintage are increase it through 2024, we can expect for at least 21k EDS to be minted this year. Because the bulk of EDS mintage is locked to EDS miners at around 15.5k per year, there is less impact to the total in circulation each year.

In 2023 we started with 30k EDS in supply and we finished the year with 48k EDS. That would be 15.5k minted from EDS miners and 2.5k from eds-vote. This means the EDS circulating supply increase by over 50% in 2023. We start this year with 48k EDS and we might finish 2024 with around 70k in supply. This is under a 50% increase and the next year would be say 25k minted into 75k supply so a 1/3 EDS increase. As each year passes, the amount of EDS minted against the amount in supply equals a smaller percentage which is good for people sharting the HIVE income pool which grows at a consistent rate.

Pretty standard week with 280 HIVE added to the @eddie-earner HP balance. If we can keep this up for all of 2024, we can expect to finish the year with an HP balance of close to 125k. This is equal to a growth of 13% which is mind-blowing, most people would be happy with 13% growth on their personal account but we're ROIing closer to 25% because we pay out 12% as HIVE income payments per powerup. We are really smashing it when it comes to HP growth.

Small increase this week like every week. During 2023, EDS issued a total of 12,653 HIVE as income payments. Remember the HIVE income pool is equal to 12% of the @eddie-earner HP balance so working out the weekly pool is easy.

1 - Check the @eddie-earner HP balance in the wallet
2 - Multiply the HP balance number by 0.12 (to get 12%)
3 - Divide your answer by 52.18 (weeks in a year)

It's been almost a year since we sold out of EDS miners and the APY has been dropping for almost a year. This week the decline was 0.16% which is good because for the past few months, it has been declining at 0.17% per week. This is good and I look forward to seeing how we finish this year. I expect to still be in decline but by how much, im not 100% sure. I assume, the APY decline will be slower than it is today but does that mean a decline of 0.15% are 0.05%, we will have to wait and see.

During 2023, the EDS declined a total of 7.27% from 34.32% down to this week's 27.05%. Because the decline slows over time, we can guess that we will finish 2024 with an APY of still over 20%. I would put my money on 22ish% but 20% would be the worst case.

The EDS APY will be able to decline each week for 2 years and still be the best-yielding HIVE income token on HIVE.

How do you build a HIVE income that only ever increases over time?

We all put money aside for a pension/old age with the money we earn from jobs, why not do the same with blockchain earnings? Weekly Roundup

What a year! We've seen growth all over and things are going perfectly. A few doubted that EDS would be sustainable after selling out of EDS miners when rapid HP growth stopped but the model is solid and growth is built on it. I could not even stop it if I wanted it.

We have just launched our new HBD-backed token which we've called EDSD for EDS dollars. We hope to build up a nice HBD balance and then use that to mint new EDS and strengthen the @eddie-earner HP balance. The rewarding model is the same as eds-vote where 50% of HBD rewards are used to mint new EDS with the otehr 50% being powered up to @eddie-earner to increase its HP balance, which increases the HIVE income pool that slows down the EDS APY decline and gets us to the EDS flip sooner. I am really looking forward to 2024 for EDS. I operate a few projects and the thing I love about EDS is when shit is hitting the fan and all my other projects bleeding money, EDS just mows on and just does its own thing and sees growth each and every week. Markets up, markets down, no matter what, I can always depend on EDS to be good and I think mentally that helps me with operating other projects. I look forward to seeing how @eds-vote grows out and seeing what @eds-d can do for us and how many EDS we can mint from these.
