Finding Comfort in Simplicity
According to the popular quote "Home is where the heart is.” This quote has been in existence for several years, it is my favorite and it says it all. My home is the number one place that comforts me.
There are so many serene places that bring me comfort, but my home is the number one place that brings me comfort, as I stated earlier.
I am an introvert and everyone knows the one place that is truly special for introverts is their home.
There is something about my house that I cannot find in any other place. The freedom, the peace, the, coziness and all of it mixing together to create my very own mini paradise. My mini paradise, where I can do whatever I want to do without feeling bad, judged, or watched. In my book, that is the highest level of comfort one can ever have and I love it.
My home brings me so much comfort because that is the one place I can be myself, the one place that has seen me at my highest and lowest, the one place I am unapologetically myself and have enough peace of mind.
Comfort doesn't have to be luxury. It doesn’t have to be associated with wealth or one’s status. My apartment is very simple yet it gives me more comfort than any other place. I think comfort has nothing to do with your financial status or influence but everything to do with how relaxed, happy, and safe you feel.
Whenever I am having a stressful day all I can ever think of is returning to my wonderful home and how everything will be fine again. The thought of returning to this little space I have carved out for myself gives me so much joy and makes it easier to get through the day without feeling drained or angry.
You can say I am obsessed with my house and I will not be angry at that because I truly am. My love for this wonderful comfort zone of mine has made it difficult for me to crash at other people’s houses. No matter how relaxing or fun a friend’s place is, I will always come back home.
My home is my home, and I love it so much. I wouldn’t have it any other way
