My Actifit Report Card: December 7 2023
A family of Bush Stone Curlews. Looked like a mum, dad, and two young chicks nesting at my son house. I have had a couple of days off work and been doing some work around at his place.
I find these birds very strange. They can be so still they look like statue's they quite often just freeze like a stone. I suppose that's why they call them bush stone curlew, and they make a really loud mateing call at night.
All the work at my son's place, along with an afternoon stroll at home and some early morning indoor cycling, helped build a decent activity count.
