maturazione dal verde all'arancione fino al rosso intenso, è coltivata soprattutto come pianta ornamentale principalmente per i suoi frutti colorati nella stagione autunnale. Purtroppo questi frutti sono belli ma non sono commestibili e sono velenosi, causando problemi gastrici anche ai nostri animali domestici
