Pineapple and coconut juice

A drink i have always wanted to make. This drink can be make with two or more ingredients depending on the choice of the one who wants it. When i said two, the two major ingredients for this drink is pineapple and coconut, it's called home made chivita drink, such drinks are amazing and helps in calming the nerves down especially when it's chilled and without any preservatives makes it more healthy. I made mine in a different way knowing that the taste of the coconut wouldn't come out well because of the pineapple i added a little date.

Ingredients for making the drink

  • 800g of pineapple
  • 400g of coconut
  • 40g of dates

Step one

If the date is not well de-seed blended it will definitely be a problem. So i de- seeded my dates and soak them in water thereafter.

Next was to remove the coconut from the shell, cut into small pieces that would make easy enough to blend it and wash it well.

I didn't forget to wash and then peel my pineapple then cut it into sizes that will be easy as well.

Step number two
I poured into my blender the dates with the water i soaked it, the coconut with it's water and blended well, poured it into my sieve and sieved it so well without allowing a particular of enter into the already sieved one. Then i blended again. Even with the second blending it produced more juice.

It isn't bad to serve it from but it's better if it's a bit chilled. The drink is amazing and I believe you would love to try it out in your own.

Let me know if you'll be trying this out in the comment section and what your about this drink is. Do you think it's healthy to the body or not? Are there particular people that should take it? The comment section is for you.

Hmmm, interesting combination, I'm not sure if we have Dates in the Philippines though. Anyways, this looks good to have when cold too.
