Una de las actividades que más disfruto hacer en la vida es viajar a cualquier rincón de mi país, Venezuela, así sean viajes cortos que tomen 1 o más horas, porque viajar me trae muchos beneficios que impactan positivamente en mi bienestar físico y emocional, sobre todo en esta etapa en la que me he sentido triste y por estar jubilada, pasando gran parte del tiempo en casa. Por eso intento buscar algo que hacer, ya sea paseando o viajando, para poder distraerme y no caer en el aburrimiento de la rutina.

Así que amigos, la semana pasada tomé la decisión de ir a algún sitio, ya que me gusta explorar los diferentes pueblos que encontramos por el camino y admirar la naturaleza, lo cual es muy agradable y entretenido. Además, cada vez que hago un viaje, me reconforta y me llena de alegría y les puedo decir que cada viaje nos deja recuerdos agradables y, cuando lo hacemos, experimentamos felicidad durante esos momentos, que pueden durar horas, días o semanas. Del mismo modo que cuando comemos, compramos algo que nos interesa o pasamos tiempo con amigos o seres queridos.

One of the activities that I most enjoy doing in life is traveling to any corner of my country, Venezuela, even if they are short trips that take 1 or more hours, because traveling brings me many benefits that positively impact my physical and emotional well-being, especially at this stage in which I have felt sad and being retired, spending much of the time at home. That's why I try to find something to do, whether it's walking or traveling, so I can distract myself and not fall into the boredom of routine.

So friends, last week I made the decision to go somewhere, since I like to explore the different towns we find along the way and admire nature, which is very nice and entertaining. Also, every time I take a trip, it comforts me and fills me with joy and I can tell you that every trip leaves us with pleasant memories and, when we do it, we experience happiness during those moments, which can last for hours, days or weeks. Just like when we eat, buy something that interests us or spend time with friends or loved ones.

Esta vez hicimos un corto viaje al estado Monagas y llegamos a Maturín para ver a mi familia, en especial a mi nieto Gael. El viaje a Maturín en carro particular dura cuatro horas, y de paso aprovecho ese tiempo para disfrutar de cada lugar por donde paso, así como de la belleza natural que se presenta en cada paisaje. He pasado por tantos lugares que los reconozco bien.

Algunos de los primeros pueblos que atravesamos en esta carretera son conocidos como Cumanacoa, un lugar donde hay ríos, animales y montañas. También me encanta pasar por San Antonio de Capayacuar, un pueblito pintoresco y lleno de alegría, donde siempre me detengo a contemplar y tomarme una foto frente al mural de serpientes. Además, hay dos pueblitos con nombres indígenas, Taguaya y Guayuta, de los que pronto compartiré más información. También pasamos por Aragua de Maturín, que es bastante extensa; aunque el viaje es largo, disfruto mucho viajando.

The trip to Maturin in a private car takes four hours, and passing through there I take advantage of that time to enjoy each place I pass through, as well as the natural beauty presented in each landscape. Some of the first towns we cross on this road are known as Cumanacoa, a place where there are rivers, animals and mountains. I also love to pass through San Antonio de Capayacuar, a picturesque little town full of joy, where I always stop to contemplate and take a picture in front of the snake mural. In addition, there are two small towns with indigenous names, Taguaya and Guayuta, about which I will soon share more information. We also pass through Aragua de Maturin, which is quite extensive; although the trip is long, I really enjoy traveling.

Por lo tanto, amigos, cuando encuentren la oportunidad de salir de viaje, deben aprovecharla, puesto que viajar nos proporciona nuevas visiones que enriquecen nuestra mente y nos transforman.
