Welcome to my Starbits Every Night, this is a routine post I make on a night time when I play Rising Star Game.

We had DASH BERLIN last week, this week we have 2NE1 as our weekly theme.

The Debut

2ne1 (read: twenty one) debuted in 2009 and FIRE was their first single. The song hit market very well, making their stardom way and becomes hot prospect in KPOP industry. Later they had I AM THE BEST single which made them worldwide was famous back then from the start however only kpop fans knew them until they launched this single, I am the best. This was the first song that made them very famous internationally, not only in Korea or famous/known only to KPOP fans.

2NE1 was a girl group consisted of 4 members:

• CL (Lee Chae-rin): CL was the leader and main rapper of 2NE1. She is known for her powerful stage presence.
• Bom (Park Bom): Park Bom was the main vocalist of 2NE1. She possessed a unique and powerful voice that added depth to the group's songs.
• Dara (Sandara Park): Sandara Park, also known simply as Dara, was the group's visual and dancer.
• Minzy (Gong Min-ji): Minzy was the group's main dancer. She was known for her incredible dance skills and vocal abilities.

7 Years Curse

In KPOP industry there is a tale of 7 years curse, which almost all of boy group and girl group get disbanded after 7 years after debut. 2NE1 failed to survive and disbanded after 7 years too, exactly in 2016.

I can only recall BTS as the only group surviving for 10 years. so why 7 years?

It's not a curse, but more like a regulation from Fair Trade Commission. All idols must sign contract and the longest permitted one is 7 years. So we can say after 7 years, most of KPOP artists decide to break up and do not continue again.

There are many reason why that decision becomes popular:

• Fatigue. K-Pop idols undergo rigorous training and demanding schedules, often starting at a young age. For the groups, they were forced to live together, separated from their parents. So its natural that later they get tired of it and decide to pursue different career paths by leaving the group.
• Market Saturation. The Kpop industry is highly competitive, and new girl groups continually debut, leading to a saturated market. The more they get successful, the harder they have to do to keep their popularity high.
• Change of Trend. Entertainment companies often aim to attract and engage younger fans to sustain the group's longevity. and sometime trends change too, so usually they make a sub units within the group or prefer to support newer groups rather than keep nurturing the old ones.

PACKS OPENING

Everyday I encourage people to buy pack... yes buy packs and open them. The common question is which one is better, buying packs or buying cards directly from other players? Personally I prefer buying cards directly over buying packs. because it gives more precision on stats building. This leaves zero waste,for example sometime we get good cards from packs but we do not need those.

However recently I have decided I will keep buying packs and share my daily opening in this post because I believe buying packs give more benefit to the community.

• First it is somekind of starbits burning which hopefully might help starbits price to be more stable.
• Second with many new cards circulated, hopefully the card price will get stable too and this will help smaller players to grow.
