In this caption, I will share what I really understand by the words domestic violence." On that note, it is not everything that we have to overlook; rather, it is a serious issue that has to do with an individual, spouse, and families, even the society we find ourselves at large, which is the agent of contradiction that goes against love and respect and as much as that which has to do with harmony, which is expected of us as God's children; hence, the following scripture is used to give us the lesson and thought that we have to abide by.

Across the book of Ephesians 5:28, it teaches about the role of love within relationships, most especially in our marriage, which goes on to teach us that we ought to love our wives as we love ourselves, which has to exclude domestic violence in relationships in marriage. And maintaining this, do nothing other than retaining peace and love within the spouse, which is accompanied by true love, kindness, and a sense of protection for each other.

Within the coverage of James 3:15-16, it speaks of the root of evil, which indicates to us the source of evil, which we have to refrain from, which has to do with anger, jealousy, and pride, which is a weapon of the devil against the believer, which are seen as the negative emotions that tend to destroy life if not discarded, so it is clearly stated that we have to refrain from all these evil emotions that the devil uses.

Also within the book of Ephesians 2:2, we are taught about the influence that evil can create in our lives, which highlights the reason that we ought to except ourselves from what are mainly worldly desires, which are not the will of God where we are. Hence, the Bible lets us understand that those who engage in such acts are not believers; rather, they are of the world, whereas we are meant to be of the righteous.

So in all, it is termed to be a social problem that is figured out to be a spiritual failure to do the needful, which is expected of us as Christians, which is our position in our marriage. So the Bible lets us understand that for those who have sinned, engaging in such can be forgiven when they do away with it and claim Jesus Christ as their only savior, which brings transformation in the life of such an individual, which now promotes peace, kindness, and love.
