Doing God's will is not easy as we may casually say it. Even Jesus our saviour at some point said " if it is my will I will say let this cup pass over me but nevertheless let thy will be done" This goes a long way to show that doing God's will is not easy.
For one to be able to do God's will, being able to have the fear of God is key to it. Fearing God means you have a full knowledge of who God is in terms of His capacity, power, glory, sovereignty and might.
We can't stop doing evil by our own strength. That's where we need prayers
Prayer is an essential spiritual tool that is used to fight evil. The bible says the effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Prayer is very important.

Another way we can stop doing evil if we want to do God's will is to ask the Holy Ghost for assistance. The bible says by strength shall no man prevail so we cannot achieve this by our own strength but by the help of God.
