You can define heaven as a beautiful natural land, precious material and absence of pain, sorrow and suffering.
According to the book of revelation, heaven is a City with street of pure gold, pearly gates and the walls are made of precious stones.
The city is filled up with God's glory, nothing like sun or moon.
God's throne is filled up with a crystal clear river of water of life, and also the tree of life grows beside the river with many fruits.
