between the beach and the road in Alicante there is a great promenade with nice three dimensional tiles

on the other side of the road there is a narrow band of buildings and behind them lies Mount Benacantil with the must-see Santa Barbara Castle on top.

now it may not rain often in Alicante but when it does puddles form on the promenade. in those puddles one can see reflections of the buildings from the far side of the road projected onto the three dimensional tiles. the result is a curiously complex image. while it is confusing, the dry mountain and the upper part of one of the buildings in the above photo stand out and can clearly be recognized in the translucent reflection. this is my contest entry
