Project Blank Launch: My UI/UX Experience

Project blank is finally here, unfortunately I couldn’t attend the launch stream party. The Leofinance teams is one of the best developers on the Hive chain, I can’t think of any moment they are not building, they are constantly building, which is really nice. Personally I thought project blank ended when the Leo thread launched but I was surprised to see an update about the launch. We lions are always excited to see an update from the Leofinance Community, as a community, the community growth and development is our growth and development also.

The goal has always been to make the hive ecosystem into an everything social media, hence the reason we are seeing twitter on hive through Leo threads, which is awesome as we have seen huge utilisation of this feature in our small community. The new UI/UX is really great it has the combination of the Leo threads and the Leo blog in one place which is something I have been waiting for since the launch of Leo thread, but my experience with the UI/UX has not been smooth as it is not really as user friendly as I expected. On mobile phone, I can’t navigate my ways around the platform, its a lot more confusing. But on a computer, its quite manageable. Took me a while to navigate my way around the explore page, the trending page and the recent post page. I think it was way easier in the previous Leofinance UI/UX.

Posting has been difficult as the page goes blank anytime I try to post, I can’t see my blog post on the platform and I can’t see other users blog post as well, the platform is really great for threads but not so much for long post blogging. I think I preferred the previous UI/UX, I only wished there was a tab were we could access the Leo threads easier( not the first micro blogging tab) on the previous Leofinance. I miss posting through the Leofinance front end with ease. I hope they can be more improvement on the site, so we can enjoy project blank better.
