March 1st 2026 Hive Power-Up Day || Power-Up 328 HP || IAmAliveChallenge #218 || IAmAliveAndThriving || 03.01.2026
Guess what, it's another 1st of the month guys, 1st of March 2026. What is unique about the 1st of every month is the Hive Power-Up Day where we are to power up at least 10 hive to the ecosystem.
Other great reasons to power-up Hive on the 1st of the month is as follows:
- Strengthen your influence on the blockchain with stronger votes on content, proposals and witnesses.
- Earn more curation rewards. The more Hive Power you have, the more you can potentially earn back
- Earn "interest" by holding Hive Power. You will also earn HIVE passively at about 3% per year of what you currently have powered up so the more HIVE you have, the more you can earn from just holding!
I am stepping up my Hive strength with 328 hive power. I bought greater numbers of the hive with fiat to add up with what I have from post payout and power up.

My target was to get pass 5,000 HP before the end of the year. I hope with more effort I will get over that as this new hive year progresses.

Congratulations! We have the same goal for 2026. Right now you're beating me by a few hundred HP. 😅 However, I know we will succeed if we remain active and consistent, now more than ever.
By the way, the "interest" you earn from having HP in your wallet is currently at 4%. It's not a huge difference, but if you're active in voting and curating content, that interest can increase.
