Fiber optics were installed at my place, but I’m not going to subscribe. The provider that installed the connection only offers limited internet: no dual-stack, just DS-Lite. If you want to use dual-stack, you have to pay an extra 5 euros per month. That means a 200 Mbit/s connection would cost €44.95 + €5, so around €50 per month.
By comparison: I currently pay €35 for my DSL connection with 100 Mbit/s and real dual-stack. So where’s the added value? 100 Mbit/s is perfectly sufficient for my household.
Fiber providers should finally offer cheaper rates than DSL. That’s the only way to create real demand for these connections and make the investments in expansion worthwhile in the long run (see other countries). Especially considering that ongoing operating costs for fiber are lower than for DSL.

Due to the large position that LSTR holds and because it will never sell, it can provide value adding services (such as participating in loan offerings, operating master nodes / validators) that provide additional income , which they use to buy even more LEO (for the average investor this is difficult both in terms of required funds, as the trust worthyness on long term vision).
Due to the reinvestments of the above - it will become even more suitable to offer value adding financial services and obtaining an even larger share (which they effectively take out of circulation as it will remain staked)

For me, LSTR functions as a catalyst were $1 spend via LSTR will have a bigger effect on LEO compared to an individual buying $1.

But yeah personally I would definitly make sure to have direct exposure to LEO aswell.

No need to sell to swap.hive and use swap.hive to buy $LSTR.
As it stands, this is not yet possible on Hive.

This is what happens. LEO seems like it loses a little momentum and takes a pause and then....BAM!...LSTR has to buy some and the SIRP has to buy some and the price climbs another notch. Get used to it. $LEO
They're going to use it to buy LEO. All of it. The whole point is to get $100k raised to buy as much LEO as possible, and then stake it on Arbitrum to collect USDC. Then use the USDC and whatever curation rewards they get from their account to buy more LEO off the market each day. The idea is to just keep compounding the revenues generated to keep buying LEO and stake it. This LEO is "permanently" removed from circulation. It will never be sold.
So, like LeoDex is doing, they will be adding daily buying pressure and reducing the "float" of the LEO tokens in circulation. Then, down the road, they will build some financial tools to use with the LSTR token, i.e. borrow against it without ever selling, for one.

As much as I didn't want to, I converted 603 LEO into the 73 LSTR I needed to reach 1000. I've got some things coming loose in a couple days, but the way it's going, #LSTR may not be around to BUY in a couple days. At least not at the discount. I wanted 1000. Better safe than sorry. Plus, it allows the SIRP and LSTR to get some more LEO in their hands.
I think it's a coinflip. LEO has to perform for LSTR to work. The only thing LSTR has over LEO is the auto-compounding and possibly some financial products down the road that don't apply to the LEO token. As for the auto-compounding, you can do it yourself on Arbitrum and then the USDC goes in your pocket. You can choose what to do with it. LSTR will automatically buy LEO with it. The biggest thing is down the road a ways, I think. LSTR could become listed on other places, hell, it may even be able to become a company and do an IPO. Who knows? Or it could borrow fiat and buy more LEO? I have no idea what they've got in the plans, but because I already own a good chunk of LEO, I wanted to at least get a solid piece of LSTR in case it ends up going bonkers.
I did most of it with HIVE and other things. I think I might have sold around 1100-1200 LEO to get to 1000 LSTR. I have a little more HIVE on powerdown, but, like I said, it may not come free before this thing sells out so....I just topped it off while I still could. Hopefully it lasts another few days and I can add some more, but it's starting to look less and less likely. Plus, at least I did it at 11 cents rather than 3. I converted a bunch of HIVE to LEO at the beginning of the year at like 15-18:1 so...call it taking profits. 😁

I'm right there with you, only I think $100 is low. I really feel like this could turn into a $1000 token. The value keeps flowing in and we're the only ones that can take it out. I just don't see that happening in big numbers (at least bigger numbers than the revenue coming in) until it really goes parabolic. The performances from Franco and Brie are genuinely excellent and you can tell their real marriage brings authenticity to their characters that you rarely see in horror movies, Tim is this struggling 35-year-old musician who feels emasculated while Millie has been making all the major decisions and carrying their relationship 💔, their problems existed long before any supernatural nonsense happened so when they start getting physically stuck together it becomes this twisted metaphor for codependency, the movie does smart character work showing how their relationship was already on shaky ground 🧠

Where this movie gets really interesting but also disappointing is the body horror aspects because it keeps pulling back just when things get intense, once Tim drinks from that cursed pond the couple starts experiencing magnetic attraction they can't control 🧲, their bodies literally stick together and they have to rip themselves apart which sounds way more brutal than what you actually see on screen, there are genuinely gross moments like when hair starts growing down throats or when they get stuck during intimate moments 😬, but every time the anxiety builds up it immediately deflates with humor or romance

Fiber optics were installed at my place, but I’m not going to subscribe. The provider that installed the connection only offers limited internet: no dual-stack, just DS-Lite. If you want to use dual-stack, you have to pay an extra 5 euros per month. That means a 200 Mbit/s connection would cost €44.95 + €5, so around €50 per month.
By comparison: I currently pay €35 for my DSL connection with 100 Mbit/s and real dual-stack. So where’s the added value? 100 Mbit/s is perfectly sufficient for my household.
Fiber providers should finally offer cheaper rates than DSL. That’s the only way to create real demand for these connections and make the investments in expansion worthwhile in the long run (see other countries). Especially considering that ongoing operating costs for fiber are lower than for DSL.

For me, LSTR functions as a catalyst were $1 spend via LSTR will have a bigger effect on LEO compared to an individual buying $1.
So if you have a good position in LEO (like my 135K LEO, LSTR becomes very interesting)

They're going to use it to buy LEO. All of it. The whole point is to get $100k raised to buy as much LEO as possible, and then stake it on Arbitrum to collect USDC. Then use the USDC and whatever curation rewards they get from their account to buy more LEO off the market each day. The idea is to just keep compounding the revenues generated to keep buying LEO and stake it. This LEO is "permanently" removed from circulation. It will never be sold.
So, like LeoDex is doing, they will be adding daily buying pressure and reducing the "float" of the LEO tokens in circulation. Then, down the road, they will build some financial tools to use with the LSTR token, i.e. borrow against it without ever selling, for one.

As much as I didn't want to, I converted 603 LEO into the 73 LSTR I needed to reach 1000. I've got some things coming loose in a couple days, but the way it's going, #LSTR may not be around to BUY in a couple days. At least not at the discount. I wanted 1000. Better safe than sorry. Plus, it allows the SIRP and LSTR to get some more LEO in their hands.

I think it's a coinflip. LEO has to perform for LSTR to work. The only thing LSTR has over LEO is the auto-compounding and possibly some financial products down the road that don't apply to the LEO token. As for the auto-compounding, you can do it yourself on Arbitrum and then the USDC goes in your pocket. You can choose what to do with it. LSTR will automatically buy LEO with it. The biggest thing is down the road a ways, I think. LSTR could become listed on other places, hell, it may even be able to become a company and do an IPO. Who knows? Or it could borrow fiat and buy more LEO? I have no idea what they've got in the plans, but because I already own a good chunk of LEO, I wanted to at least get a solid piece of LSTR in case it ends up going bonkers.

I got to 1000 LSTR but did it with $HIVE . I still feel icky but I'm still in the breakup stage with Hive .
I did most of it with HIVE and other things. I think I might have sold around 1100-1200 LEO to get to 1000 LSTR. I have a little more HIVE on powerdown, but, like I said, it may not come free before this thing sells out so....I just topped it off while I still could. Hopefully it lasts another few days and I can add some more, but it's starting to look less and less likely. Plus, at least I did it at 11 cents rather than 3. I converted a bunch of HIVE to LEO at the beginning of the year at like 15-18:1 so...call it taking profits. 😁

I'm right there with you, only I think $100 is low. I really feel like this could turn into a $1000 token. The value keeps flowing in and we're the only ones that can take it out. I just don't see that happening in big numbers (at least bigger numbers than the revenue coming in) until it really goes parabolic. It's been a long grind since I was buying it at $1 when it moved over to HIVE, but the wait is definitely going to be worth it.

Where this movie gets really interesting but also disappointing is the body horror aspects because it keeps pulling back just when things get intense, once Tim drinks from that cursed pond the couple starts experiencing magnetic attraction they can't control 🧲, their bodies literally stick together and they have to rip themselves apart which sounds way more brutal than what you actually see on screen, there are genuinely gross moments like when hair starts growing down throats or when they get stuck during intimate moments 😬, but every time the anxiety builds up it immediately deflates with humor or romance

While I wasn't involved with Dash back then, in 2016 the Dash Core team worked with Proton to integrate Dash as a payment option, and Proton agreed, and even said so publicly (linked below). They may even have been paid (there were Dash treasury proposals to fund the integration).
Abruptly, they just went silent for 9 long years, until community pestering finally got them to answer. Which they did with casual disdain, saying their commitment was just "a tweet." No apology, no explanation, no nothing. Not a great way of doing business.
I highlight great companies and projects I do business with. Sometimes I have to do the opposite. ☹️
Let this be a warning: this is what happens when you do business with Proton.

The value of the LEO it holds is already $100k+ which means that even if it somehow lost all the newly raised capital (everything after 50k LSTR - aka half of the raised capital), it would still be a net profit in terms of mNav (Market Cap to Net Asset Value)
If it dumps in price when the pool goes live, the dumpers are giving away free profits to anyone smart enough to run the math on the underlying holdings
