Many tend to overcomplicate their content. The focus isn't on crafting an attention-grabbing opening or following a formula for virality. It's about consistently conveying one clear idea in a distinctive voice.

How and Why $LEO's thin liquidity is going to help with price action

A small amount of protocol buying has an exponential impact

0
0
0.000
avatar

Very possible. Anyone who buys medium to large in size is going to effect the price in a positive fashion. Having so many people staking and wanting to stay that way will just feed this whole effect.

Some people will begin selling if it gets to their life changing price and that's ok.

Revenue going forward is definitely the sustaining bit.

The only issue with this viewpoint is that large traders want liquidity for easy enter/exit with minimal slippage. Naturally, the same number of tokens at a higher USD price offsets this, something Bitcoin has seen happen.

The reason it's a rethread is because it was actually a post meant for last night but I forgot to hit publish so I just reused the same picture and changed the post text

Here is another question I could not find info, and to which probably only @khaleelkazi can answer:

If LEO 2.0 kicks in on June 25th EST Noon time, does this means the very first curation upvotes with no-inflation sourcing will be those upvoted after 12:00 June 25th???

or.....

All the upvotes which expire after 12:00 tomorow, but actually has been already put on posts after noon EST June 18th - will get no inflation LEO, and become sourced from the buy-backs?

I want a clear & strick answer, is it "1" or "2" ?

Anyone has a clue?

#feedback

avatar

My guess, and it is just that, is it #2. Inflation is based upon block, and if they shut it down at 12:00 that block is the last to produce inflation, which means votes were placed a week ago.

Not to be taken as gospel though.

Part 1/9:

The Muddy Conditions of War: A Turning Point in the Great War

October 2, 1914, marked a significant moment in the Great War that had already claimed hundreds of thousands of lives within just two months. As the autumn rains began to drench the battlefields of Europe, soldiers were faced with a new and formidable adversary: mud. This article explores the precarious state of the war, the challenges faced by the armies involved, and the sociopolitical changes occurring in Europe amidst the chaos.

The Stalemate and the Race to the Sea

0

avatar

Part 2/9:

When we left off at the end of September, the British and French forces had reached a stalemate against the Germans at the Battle of the Aisne, prompting a strategic maneuver known as the Race to the Sea. From the trenches, both sides aimed to outflank one another while digging in further toward the coastline. Meanwhile, in the east, the Russians were gaining ground against the Austro-Hungarian army, pushing them back into Austria and advancing into Poland to confront the Germans.

avatar

Part 3/9:

However, the autumn rains transformed the situation dramatically, turning battlefields into quagmires. For the Austrian army, which had entrenched itself in the fortress of Przemsyl, this mud proved to be an unexpected ally despite the decrepit condition of their defenses. While the Russians launched their initial assault on September 26, the mud resulted in heavy casualties, rendering their artillery largely ineffective as they found it impossible to advance.

Russian Tactical Missteps

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 4/9:

Russian General Ivanov's decision to regroup his forces on the east bank of the Vistula River for a strike into Germany backfired. Instead of gaining ground, his army became fodder to the muddy conditions. The result was a long march full of hardship, leading to starvation among men and horses alike. This is a stark contrast to the trenches, where the Austrians remained relatively secure.

The Siege of Antwerp

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 5/9:

Concurrent with these engagements in the east, the Germans started bombarding Antwerp on September 26, desperate to take the last remaining Belgian stronghold. The fall of Antwerp would pave the way for the Germans to threaten the British Isles directly. To prolong resistance against German forces, British officials, including Winston Churchill, traveled to Antwerp in early October to encourage and support the beleaguered Belgians.

The situation for the Belgians was dire. Their country had been turned into a war zone, with populations displaced and cities devastated. Despite speeches of resistance, they faced insurmountable odds. The marshy ground made trench digging nearly impossible as strategic defenses were further complicated by the flooding around the city.

Life During Wartime

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 6/9:

As the war continued to strip away everyday normalcy, various countries introduced strict regulations impacting civilian life. In Germany, speaking English in public became illegal, while in Russia, the German language was outright banned. This marked a disintegration of cultural connectivity within affected nations.

France took a slightly different approach, imposing a moratorium on rent and providing allowances to families whose primary earners had gone off to fight. However, for many, especially those reliant on trade, despair prevailed. Social unrest surged, particularly in Britain, where industrial disputes arose as workers noted the stark profits being made while their wages remained stagnant.

A Unique War Economy

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 7/9:

The war economy began to shift dramatically. New industries sprang up in response to the demand for war supplies such as shells, uniforms, and basic necessities. Notably, the correspondence that originated from the trenches led to an unusual spike in the production of pencils and paper.

Interestingly, during this chaotic period, less conventional industries, such as goat farming, also saw a rise. This adaptation hints at the collective efforts of civilians to contribute to the war effort, alongside those actively battling on the front lines and the troops stationed in colonies around the world.

International Conflicts

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 8/9:

On a global scale, this month also witnessed significant military engagements beyond Europe. The Battle of Sandfontein unfolded in what is now Namibia, where German forces, outnumbered, executed a clever ambush against South African troops. This engagement, while minor by European standards, played a crucial role by tying down South African resources that might have otherwise aided the Allies in Europe.

Conclusion: A Muddy Future Ahead

As October set in, the consequences of the rain and mud were felt across various battlefronts—the muddy conditions made marching virtually impossible and life in the trenches unbearable. The Great War transitioned from rapid victories to a protracted conflict defined by a series of unending battles.

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 9/9:

While the mud of Europe would claim many lives in the years to come, it also acted as a stark reminder of the relentless nature of war and the changing tides of history. The coming months would further reveal the costs of conflict, and the millions of young men caught in the muddy embrace of war would eventually be forgotten.

With each passing week, new stories of heroism and tragedy unfolded, leaving an indelible mark on the course of history—a testament to the turmoil of a world engulfed in conflict.

Not entirely cool. There will definitely be a decline in engagement on the frontend.

0

Hmm... I don't think so. Since it's only leo.voter that will strictly curate premium users, other Lions are curating those using the frontend.

Some people don't even receive upvotes from leo.voter despite being premium, but that's due to some factors, as leo.voter curates quality posts. They have a guide which is used.

It's in our hands to support the project and ensure more growth.

Since I joined as an advisor to LSTR, I can confidently say it is a net value add to the $LEO economy

Look at what Microstrategy has done for BTC

They are acquiring BTC, then using their balance sheet to acquire more BTC. Owning 1 MSTR is like owning a leveraged bet on BTC

The same is true for LSTR. Owning 1 LSTR is like owning a leveraged bet on LEO

I want to help them sell out of their 100,000 (only 82,000 left) LSTR initial offering. 100% of those proceeds buy LEO off the market and stake it as sLEO. Then they take their USDC earnings each day from sLEO and buy more LEO and stake it permanently. Earning more USDC the next day to do the same

We should stop questioning LSTR and start questioning how we can help them make their full fundraise so we can see more LEO get off the market

Part 1/8:

Interview with Steve Leo's Founder: Insights into Steemit and Investment Community

In a fascinating dialogue, the founder of Steve Leo shares their journey from discovering the Steemit platform to creating an investing-centric community that combines blockchain technology with financial content.

Discovering Steemit

The founder reminisced about first encountering Steemit around two years ago, diving into it while exploring Ethereum articles online. Their initial interest was sparked when they stumbled upon engaging crypto content through Steemit. After some time, they felt compelled to create an account to immerse themselves in this new social media platform that operated on blockchain technology.

0

0.000
avatar

Part 2/8:

It is noteworthy that nobody introduced Steemit to them; they found it themselves during an internet search. Interestingly, this self-motivated journey reflects how many users are continually finding their way to blockchain opportunities via personal exploration.

What Keeps Users Engaged?

Steemit has captivated the founder's interest because it serves as a unique social media platform tailored for entrepreneurs and creative minds. They likened it to an "underdog" in the cryptocurrency realm, possessing immense potential yet to be fully realized.

0
0.000
avatar

Part 3/8:

The founder expressed a sense of commitment to Steemit, relating how their enthusiasm for the platform has only grown over time. They admitted to prioritizing their engagement with Steemit over involvement in other crypto platforms, having even converted existing investments into Steemit tokens.

Content Creation on Steemit

Over time, the founder primarily focused on posting about books and investing. Their enthusiasm for reading and interest in the financial sector became the cornerstone of their content. While their initial engagement was through the original Steemit platform, they transitioned to using platforms like SteemPeak and DTube over time, indicating adaptability in their content-sharing approaches.

The Birth of Leo Token

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 4/8:

The inception of Leo stemmed from a long-standing ambition to tokenize the Steemit ecosystem and elevate the platform for investment discussions. The founder expressed their disappointment when certain features, like SMTs (Smart Media Tokens), were delayed. This frustration transformed into opportunity when they began exploring tokenization with Steem Engine, culminating in the launch of Leo Token nearly from the get-go.

Initially a one-person venture, the founder worked closely with family and friends for support, though they remain the driving force behind most of the initiatives. Since launching, the community aspect has blossomed with the establishment of a vibrant Discord channel, exhibiting camaraderie among Steemians.

Leo's Mission

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 5/8:

Leo is centered on investing and financial content. It serves as a community for individuals interested in discussing and creating investment-oriented articles, drawing comparisons to platforms like Seeking Alpha but grounded in the capabilities of blockchain technology. The founders envision Leo as a next-generation space for investors that leverages tokenization and rewards systems, thus enhancing community engagement.

Future Plans for the Community

0.000
avatar

Part 6/8:

Looking forward, the founder emphasizes the critical need for onboarding new users to ensure Steemit’s success. They see the responsibility of creating pathways for newcomers lying predominantly with community members. Their ambition is to attract individuals interested in financial markets, driving growth within the Steemit ecosystem, and ultimately fostering a love for the platform that mirrors their own experience.

In the realm of digital marketing, plans to use platforms like Facebook and Twitter for advertisements are already in place, which indicates a strategic approach to reaching potential users effectively.

Mining Tokens and the Lottery System

0

avatar

Part 7/8:

The Leo community also offers mining options through two types of tokens: Leo Mega Miner and Leo Minor. These operate on a lottery ticket system, where users can stake tokens for a chance to earn rewards rather than receiving fixed amounts daily. This system adds an engaging layer for users looking to expand their involvement with Leo.

Tips for Growing on Steemit

The founder shared valuable insights for content creators. They highlighted the importance of consistency in posting, akin to popular creators on the platform who have established predictable content schedules. They also stressed the need for effective tagging, which helps maintain the integrity of the platform and encourages genuine investment discussions.

Final Thoughts

Part 8/8:

As the interview wrapped up, it was clear that the passion for advancing the Steemit community is a driving force for the founder of Leo. They acknowledged the ongoing evolution of the platform and remain committed to further innovating features and cultivating a vibrant, engaged user base.

The future looks promising for Leo and the broader Steemit ecosystem, with plans to attract more users and expand the investment conversation. The synergy between financial initiatives and community growth is set to redefine how we perceive social media and blockchain technologies.

This interview illustrates the dedication and vision necessary to build a thriving digital community that promises to attract a new generation of investors.

Part 1/7:

The Transformation of Everstoke: A New Era for Mountain Biking

The announcement that Everstoke will transition to a private club next year has sparked a tumultuous wave of reactions, particularly for its founder, who has faced a barrage of criticism and support alike. The driving force behind this decision stems from a deep desire to reclaim the trails and create a unique space for mountain biking enthusiasts.

Despite the emotional toll that the feedback has taken, the founder remains resolute, believing that the shift to a members-only club is an innovative and necessary move for the future of mountain biking in the area. This decision represents a gamble, but one that he feels is essential for fostering a safe and sustainable environment for riders.

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 2/7:

The Concept of Membership: More Than Just Trails

One of the main points of contention among critics is the perception that members would merely be paying for access to bike trails, akin to purchasing a bike park pass. The founder emphasizes that this new club is about more than just riding; it’s about creating a community that families can return to year after year, fostering exploration of the Lost Sierra wilderness.

The intent behind the membership model is to prioritize a close-knit group of dedicated riders who can provide feedback and ideas for improving the trails. This focused community is a stark contrast to the influx of the general public, which presents significant liabilities and challenges.

Addressing Liability Concerns

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 3/7:

A prominent concern discussed in the announcement is the issue of liability. The founder highlights the numerous risks involved in operating a publicly accessible trail system in California. The potential for accidents – like injuries sustained from mountain bike features – puts an enormous burden on operators, especially when facing legal scrutiny.

By transitioning to a private club, the hope is to mitigate these risks. Members will have familiarity with the trails and a vested interest in maintaining safety, thereby reducing potential liabilities compared to an unpredictable public environment. While the outlook remains grim in terms of the legal implications if an accident were to occur, the membership model could help create a more controlled atmosphere.

Pricing and Value Perception

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 4/7:

The key question on many people's minds is the membership price. The founder believes that while $1,200 a year may seem steep to some, it is within the realm of fair pricing for a select group of dedicated mountain biking enthusiasts. He recognizes that the value of the experience is subjective, much like the opinions of those drawn to various hobbies, including dirt biking.

The founder acknowledges the struggle of finding the right price point, particularly when introducing a novel concept that hasn't been seen in the mountain biking community before. The goal is to attract enough members to sustain operations while maintaining the integrity of the riding experience.

Seasonal Considerations and Year-Round Access

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 5/7:

Critics have also raised concerns about limited riding season, suggesting that the club would only be operational for several months of the year. However, the founder pushes back against this idea, sharing that the unique elevation of their property allows for riding well into the winter months.

He describes how weather patterns can create an unpredictable but exciting riding environment, where members can enjoy biking, hiking, or winter camping in the snow. This versatility adds to the potential appeal of membership, as there are activities to enjoy throughout the year.

Building Community Connections

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 6/7:

Beyond just trails and biking, the founder emphasizes the importance of community connections in creating a successful and enriching environment at Everstoke. He envisions a space where lifelong friendships can form and where people feel connected to both the land and each other.

There is hope for expansion down the line, with dreams of constructing accommodations for visitors who wish to partake in the experience. The narrative surrounding this venture has surely been a rollercoaster, but it ultimately points to a vision that values community, adventure, and collaboration.

Final Thoughts: A Learning Experience

avatar

Part 7/7:

Through the whirlwind of feedback and the emotional turmoil stemming from this transition, the founder expresses gratitude to those who reached out in support. While he acknowledges that the initial communication might have missed some nuances, he remains committed to refining the process and addressing concerns as they arise.

As Everstoke embarks on this transformative journey, it becomes clear that the vision extends far beyond trails. It encapsulates a holistic approach to mountain biking that prioritizes safety, community, and the love of nature. As he grapples with the challenges ahead, the founder is excited to witness the evolution of Everstoke and the enthusiastic community it aims to cultivate.

Part 1/10:

Understanding Neurodiversity: Insights from Matt Lerner

In a recent session at the AJ Drexel Autism Institute, Matt Lerner, an associate professor and program area leader, addressed several critical questions about neurodiversity, autism, ADHD, and associated conditions. He aimed to clarify common misconceptions while providing insights into the lived experiences of neurodivergent individuals.

What Does Neurodivergent Mean?

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 2/10:

One of the first questions addressed was about the term neurodivergent. Lerner explained that neurodivergence is not a formal diagnosis but rather a descriptive term used to capture a range of neurological variations, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more. It represents different ways of perceiving and interacting with the world, which may lead to challenges in social integration and communication.

Understanding Dyslexia

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 3/10:

When asked about the experiences of individuals with dyslexia, Lerner illustrated how the reading experience significantly differs for them. He explained that while most people read words with clarity and order, dyslexic individuals often see jumbled text, making reading fluidity a challenge. This causes them to exert additional cognitive effort to decode words and sentences, which can be exhausting over time.

Autism Social Masking: The Struggle to Fit In

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 4/10:

Lerner also tackled the concept of masking or camouflaging, prevalent among autistic individuals. He described it as a conscious or unconscious effort to downplay autistic traits to fit into neurotypical environments. While this might help in social interactions, it can be emotionally and cognitively draining, often leading to increased anxiety and depression. Lerner emphasized the importance of creating spaces where autistic individuals can be their authentic selves without the need to mask.

Navigating Diagnoses and Information Sources

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 5/10:

Responding to a question about how to communicate neurodivergent experiences to healthcare providers, Lerner highlighted that being neurodivergent itself is not a diagnosis. He cautioned that information gleaned from platforms like TikTok must be approached carefully, as much of it may lack scientific backing. Instead of saying a TikTok diagnosis led to concerns, he advised individuals to express resonances with certain experiences they have encountered, opening up avenues for more productive discussions with healthcare professionals.

Are Media Representations of Autism Accurate?

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 6/10:

When asked about shows like Love on the Spectrum, Lerner pointed out that while it includes autistic voices, some portrayals are tailored for entertainment rather than genuine representation. Authentic narratives come from autistic individuals themselves, who can share their diverse experiences without reducing their lives to stereotypes or caricatures.

Features and Signs of Autism

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 7/10:

Lerner elaborated on the signs of autism, which consist of two main categories—the challenges in social communication and the presence of restricted and repetitive behaviors. The nuances within social interactions can present obstacles for those on the spectrum, which might include difficulties with non-verbal cues or sustaining friendships. Additionally, sensory sensitivities often create challenges in everyday environments.

An In-Depth Look at Stimming

The concept of stimming (self-stimulatory behavior) was explored, pointing out how it manifests in various forms, such as rocking or humming. This behavior helps individuals with autism manage and regulate overwhelming sensory experiences, channeling the energy of their nervous systems in constructive ways.

The Complex Landscape of Party Ban Procedures in Germany

In recent discussions, the contentious topic of political parties and their potential bans in Germany has come under scrutiny, particularly in the light of the recent ruling by the Federal Administrative Court against the government's move to ban the Kompakt magazine. This ruling has overshadowed the possibility of banning the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, stirring up a variety of opinions and analyses on the implications of such legal frameworks.

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 2/9:

The crux of the argument presented by Jürgen Els suggests that if the German government fails to ban a smaller entity like Kompakt, it is highly unlikely that it could effectively ban a politically significant party like the AfD. However, as Jessica points out, this comparison fundamentally misrepresents the legal distinctions between banning a magazine and a political party.

Distinct Legal Procedures for Bans

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 3/9:

The procedures for banning a magazine and a political party differ significantly. In the case of Kompakt, the court ruled that the expressions and activities reviewed did not sufficiently meet the threshold for a ban. This criterion is known as "Prägung," which pertains to whether the objectionable content has a pervasive impact—that is, whether milder measures could have provided adequate legal protection without resorting to a total ban.

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 4/9:

Unlike the procedures pertaining to magazines, where lesser forms of intervention can be employed—like restricting certain expressions or curtailing specific activities—the legal framework governing political parties under Article 21 of the German Constitution does not permit such nuanced measures. Once a party is registered and functioning, its activities cannot be restricted or disciplined by the state unless those actions are criminal in nature.

Key Differences in Assessments

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 5/9:

The contrasting assessments primarily revolve around whether party activities fundamentally threaten the free democratic order. For a political party, even minor infringing sentiments against human rights can lead to a total ban, regardless of its other platforms that may support democratic principles. This poses a stark difference compared to the Kompakt case, which acknowledged a mixture of permissible and impermissible content.

Court evaluations for a party ban hinge upon establishing that the party has the potential to undermine democracy significantly. Crucially, the presence of any element that could threaten democratic principles is sufficient for a ban, irrespective of the party's other stances.

Implications for the AfD

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 6/9:

This leads to the broader conversation regarding the AfD and its political rhetoric. Critics of the AfD often argue that while certain stances might violate human rights, the party maintains platforms that could be considered democratic. However, legal precedent indicates that if a party promotes the abrogation of any of democracy’s key tenets, such as basic human rights, this is grounds for a ban.

The notion that a few infringing statements could be overlooked or deemed insignificant fails to hold water under the rigorous standards set by the Constitutional Court, which does not permit an assessment of relative weight between harmful and non-harmful ideologies within a party.

The Road Ahead: Prospects for a Ban?

0
0
0.000
avatar

Part 7/9:

Stirring discussions are emerging about the potential for a party ban. There has been a slight shift in the stance of several federal states, including those led by the Union, regarding supporting or possibly initiating a ban procedure against the AfD. However, skepticism remains, particularly from faction leaders within conservative parties.

Despite the resistance, some argue that pursuing a ban could ultimately foster democratization within the political landscape. Though the constitutional process aims to serve different purposes, there are advocates who believe that the fear of a ban could lead parties to reevaluate their policies, encouraging more democratic or less detrimental platforms.

Conclusion

0.000
avatar

Part 8/9:

The debates surrounding the ban of political entities like the AfD reveal the intricate relationship between legal standards and political realities in Germany. The arguments around the AfD and the Kompakt ruling highlight how nuanced and challenging the process is. It is clear that while the judiciary has a critical role, the political repercussions of these legal decisions will continue to reverberate in the public conscience. As discussions unfold, all eyes remain on how these political dynamics will shift in the face of potential legal actions—and what that will mean for Germany's democratic future.

0

Part 9/9:

As these discussions evolve, it is essential for citizens to engage with the legal frameworks that define their political environment, promoting informed discourse on what these thresholds mean for the future of their democracy.

Amidst the chaos, Driver forms a bond with his neighbor, Irene, and her son, which further complicates the narrative. Despite being a man whose life revolves around crime and violence, Driver tries to embody a fatherly figure, showcasing the oft-hidden soft side of his character. This nurturing aspect stands in stark contrast to his brutal reality, highlighting the film's central theme: that even the most hardened individuals can exhibit tenderness.

Part 7/7:

Through "Drive," Refn delves deep into themes of masculinity, the allure of violence, and isolation. The film ultimately suggests that for some, violence is intrinsically linked to identity—marking moments of power and control amidst a tumultuous life. Moreover, Driver’s iconic jacket symbolizes confidence and style, transcending the physical garment to represent the essence of the character himself: cool on the outside yet tormented within.

In conclusion, "Drive" leaves viewers with lingering questions about morality, the nature of relationships, and the price of living on the edge. It remains an unforgettable piece that artfully blends substance and style, captivating audiences with its haunting imagery and thought-provoking themes.

2017’s rally ended with NFTs. Once dismissed as pointless JPEGs, these digital assets later fetched millions by 2021. The 2021 surge was driven by GameFi and Metaverse excitement. Now, those themes are making a comeback.

In the crypto world, one fact remains: themes never vanish—they reemerge. History doesn’t merely echo; it recreates itself. The period between 2025 and 2026 is expected to validate this.

I read a saying that "Smart contracts are so simple yet powerful you can orchestrate billions of events"

Is this true?

Smart contracts are self-executing contracts with terms written in code, stored on a blockchain. They can automate tasks and handle complex logic, but their ability to orchestrate events depends on factors like scalability, complexity, and computational resources. Limitations include scalability, complexity, and interoperability.

Bridge it OK, where? In their own app made just for this? Ouch.

The thing is...if they actually do this then more $LEO will be burned each time. 😀

The Overpopulation Crisis: Earth's Resources Can’t Keep Up

#threadstorm #outreach

avatar

🧵/2

The topic of increasing population is not just an academic discussion in today's time. Still, it has become a ground reality which affects every country, every city and every person directly and indirectly. Whenever we talk about the development process and future growth, the first question that arises is whether we have the resources to meet the needs of such a growing population and is our earth so big and capable that it can satisfy a person's basic need of food, water, shelter and energy or not.

0

avatar

🧵/3

If we do not take strong steps towards population control today, then in the coming times we will not have drinking water, water to breathe and no environment to hike and the jungles that used to exist in stories will remain only in history books and the animals that we see only in science and hear about in stories and before all this becomes true, we have to do something for nature. But if we keep ignoring it, then one day it will turn against us and when nature comes in opposition, it has its consequences.
