Git was originally created by Linus Torvalds (...). The trademark "Git" is registered by the Software Freedom Conservancy, marking its official recognition and continued evolution in the open-source community".
If the core of the code versions ledger we build on INLEO actually uses the Git software, I guess we'd have to ask the SFC the authorization to refer to "Git" in the name, but it seems to be relatively easy to get (apart from "GitHub", there already is "GitLab", "Gitea", "GitBreeze", "Git Cola", etc.). It has almost become a generic word, in the open source universe, as far as I've seen.

I’ve played guitar for 15 years and never really played distortion.
I’ve always played acoustic guitar because I didn’t want to spend tons of money on equipment
I was traveling around a lot and felt like electric guitar required too many things that were hard to bring around
I started playing electric a few times but each time I ended up moving and selling my amp and guitar so finally ended up sticking only with acoustic
recently i decided I wanted to start using a loop pedal and play more variety
I’ve been called folk for years and I really don’t think of myself as playing folk

Privacy and security are definitely two big reasons.
I've realized that there are only really two windows applications left that I use, and I can run those in a virtualized windows instance inside linux.
If you're curious, I recommend installing VirtualBox on your Windows PC and create a virtual installation for yourself. Then you can try it out without changing anything on your current setup
