My Hive Goals for 2025 Week #20

I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2025 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. There is only a little more than 7 months left in the year. I am making slow progress towards my goals, and it all adds up.

Progress

graph.png
Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week was looking worse than last week, and it all adds up over time.

HP

I earned 58 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. The numbers are a bit off because the last report I did was 6 days ago. The SSL error was resolved soon after, but it threw off my schedule, so I can't do a fair comparison.

HBD

HBD.pngimage.png

I gained 9 HBD this week, but its for 6 days rather than 7 days. It is one day off due to the issues last week. The price of Hive is still above 20 cents this week, and it looks like the price has kind of recovered. I don't expect prices to go down and for me to buy more Hive anytime soon. So I will put down the HBD into the savings for now. I also got my interest this week. I am wondering if I should try holding more HBD, though, for the Conclave Set, but I can always withdraw some HBD later if needed. I was also able to collect my HBD interest. Almost 43 HBD in interest this month.

LEO Power

I earned 26 LEO over the past week. It's a bit less than I would like, but I am short one day. I did power up 200 LEO for LPUD last week too.

Conclusion

goal progress.png
My progress is looking decent for now. My HP is slowly going up by around 2% per week, and that will be on track towards the goal at the end of the year. As long as I stay consistent, my HP goal shouldn't be too much trouble. HBD is the farthest along for now, and I expect that goal to be the first to reach a stopping point. I want to push it close enough so that the interest would cover the rest of the year, but with Hive price going down, I am tempted to buy more Hive. LEO Power is a bit slower than I would like but I am still earning some LEO each week. It's not that much, but at least it's a bit with the buffer that I already had. It all adds up over time and I am on track towards completing my goals by the end of the year. The main worry that I have right now is the new set in Splinterlands because modern fights will no longer support Chaos Legion when it does. I will add Hive when the price is lower than 20 cents, or add to HBD if it isn't. I can always take out HBD from savings later if I need to.

Do you have any goals for 2025? What is the progress towards your own goals?

Can you delegate LEO to some account to earn them (or hive) back?

I don't think there is any right now. At least, I can't seem to think of any. There use to be an account that used to do something like that but that project shut down a few years ago.

LEO seems to be starting to recover a bit. The week's progress is good despite having one less day.

I think LEO's outlook is decent. The DHF proposal might not be going anywhere, but things like LeoDex make it something that you can't ignore.

You have really solid goals for for end of the year. I think maybe I should make post about my goals for hive engine tokens. Still don't know how many i want to have, but when I have some swap, hive i try to gather more spt and neoxag and pal.

It depends. I don't put as much stock into tribe tokens outside of a few because there aren't as many use cases for them.

Nice progress towards your goals.

I should give HIvestats a look over and consider keeping track of my progress there also.

I made a major change this year and sold my Hive to buy HBD while it was near 50 centa, then sold my HBD to buy Hive when it was sub 30 cents.

I wish I had DCA'd into Hive at that point, because the price continued to move lower, but at the time I thought it was a temporary dip and not a downward trend.

But I feel good about significantly increasing my Hive stash during that time period.

I have it all staked to SP so I haven't been able to take advantage of recent price volatility.

Note to self:
Always keep some extra HBD and some Extra Hive Price Dips.
Staking or Powering Hive up makes it easier to visualize your progress, but then it's harder to make those big gains in Hive when there's volatility.

Good Luck in achieveing this years goals.

I think you still did decent as you got a decent amount of Hive back. I haven't been trying to catch the pumps or dumps a bit because I only show up once a day. It just seems a bit risky when one side runs, but it doesn't seem to be happening as much.

I think it's good to keep track of your progress, and good luck on your goals when you make them.
