What happened in crypto in the past week? A new ATH for Bitcoin. And another one. And another one. What happen when you win so much you get tired of winning? Yet, Miners are changing strategy, switching BTC for ETH or Solana. Trump wants more money from crypto. TON Golden Visa was just a marketing move. What else? Read below:

• Bitcoin: Japanese company Metaplanet holds 15.555 BTC aiming for 210.000 by 2027, but they also acquired a digital bank in Japan. At first, Bitcoin volatility hits historic lows, trading 2% below its ATH. And then the very next day, it broke above its ATH, first to $112K, and then up to $118K, a 20$ increase this year. Institutional BTC futures hit 5-month high too. Trump is asking for Fed Rate cuts, as a direct result, but it is told NO.
• Ethereum: Bit Digital shares jumped 18% as the Bitcoin miner swapped BTC for ETH reserves. Truth Social asked the SEC to approve its Crypto Blue Chip ETF focused on BTC and ETH. SharpLink Gaming reached $527M in ETH holdings after they bought some more ETH.
• Altcoins and stablecoins: Tether says it keeps an $8B gold stash inside a vault it controls in Switzerland. Binance founder's family office is backing a company designed to buy and hold BNB tokens. Over one billion worth of BNBs are gone, as BNB foundation did its 32nd quaterly burn, reducing the total supply gradually to 100M tokens. Trump family pushes to make their crypto tradable, with 99% support from 5B tokens cast. Founders allocations are excluded form the immediate trading. Pump.fun is finally launching its own token. UK and US citizens are excluded from the ICO due to regulatory restrictions. With the last BTC ATH, the memecoins outperformed both ETH and BTC, as Pengu went up 29%, Doge 7%, Dogfiwhat 14%. Ripple CEO believes stablecoins will grow from $20B to $1-2 trillion within a few years. Bit Mining stock surged 350% after they announced ditching BTC for Solana.
• NFTs and blockchain games: I have enjoyed playing Golem Overlord lately on Hive, and it is quite profitable, I would say, with some significant updates lately. On Splinterlands, we have had the Land NFT new update and improved tokenomics on March 18. The presale of its latest Conclave Arcana collection is ongoing, and two new promo cards are on sale. • Good news: CoreWeave plans to acquire data center operator Core Scientific in an all-stock transaction at $9B. Pakistan created the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, an infrastructure to license and monitor crypto bussinesses.
• Bad news: TON Foundation clarified that there is no official government partnership for its UAE Golden Visa staking idea. The SEC commissioner has cautioned that tokenized stocks are still stocks and remain under the US securities laws. Vitalik is advocating for copyleft licensing across crypto projects, forcing anyone using open-source crypto code to open-source their own improvements.
• Joke of the week: In New Zealand, a draft law was proposed with a hard $5000 cap on any single cash transfer sent abroad, and crypto-ATMs dissapeared prior to this measure. Looks like a calculated move, more than standard anti money laundering measures.
