Hopefull this is the last time I talk about this subject.

"Just some thoughts for you guys.

Hive-Engine is rather complex. There's multiple systems that we connect to. Much of it is public infrastructure. Other chains experience problems, and at times the nodes we rely on go down. Often times when random people come in to this discord trash talk us because a hive-engine service is down the reality is that it's not something we operate. This project requires a lot of public blockchain infrastructure and because there's a lot of it there is often something wrong with some part of it connected to a third party service.

More recently there's been some problems that the witnesses are sorting out how to deal with. Multiple RPCs are going offline and we're troubleshooting why and how to solve it. They go down, but you'll notice the team of witnesses are actually rather competent, get the service running again, and we continue to operate. We'll deal with this challenge like we've dealt with other challenges for the multiple years this project has operated.

You guys give us shit because at times the services aren't available, but it's worth noting that this is a boot strapped project. There wasn't an investment round for this project. It's a service project to the community. There isn't constant funding from the DAO either. The Hive stakeholders haven't financially supported hive-engine at all for the entiry of the project. Yes, the primary functioning exchange built on this blockchain has received exactly zero dollars from the DAO.

I'm going to start kicking people out of Discord that only have salt to offer to the people that are essentially volunteers or low paid folks that help keep this project alive. Personally, I haven't drawn a salary for this project since inception. If you have a complaint feel free to leave it in a professional manner. Those that can't function professionally will be shown the door."

I understand where he is coming from. I believe I talked about dealing with frustration in my @hive-118281 post yesterday.

When I got up this morning and went to do my BBH price set I once again could not use TribleDex on my laptop. And due to the low volume with BBH this week I am assuming a lot of other people are having the same issue.

So, I desided to try BeeSwap to access my hive-engine wallet and do what I had to do. And it worked like a charm.

Sure it looks different and takes a little to get use to but it is there.

As my title says, I am finding answers to the issues.

There is a dedicated lot of people working hard to keep things running, there are going to be hick ups as Hive is built bigger and better. We all need to understand this and work with what we have. That is why I copy and paisted the Discord statement.

BUILDING BBH

Saturdays are drip day. Now if you are not a regular reader of mine you are wondering what is drip day.

I run a income token and tipping bot all in one. The token is BBH. Every Saturday I payout the people holding BBH tokens. Passive income if you like. I like to call it a 'drip' of a token(s) to the people that own BBH tokens. And unlike some all you have to do is own it. No staking, no nothing.

1032 drip payments were made.

If you own 10 or more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive.
If you own 5,000 or more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive and the Alive token, and CTP Tokens.
If you own 10,000 or more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive, Alive, CTP, and $LEO tokens.

All just for owning BBH. There are two ways you can get BBH. First you can buy them from the open market. I use TribalDex myself.

Or they can be tipped to you. The great part about BBH tipping is that when you tip a token to someone else you do not loose any of your own. There is a central pool that supplies them.

And a third way to get BBH would be people gift them to you.

TIPPING

In a 24 hour period, reset at new day UTC. There are currently four levels of tipping.

Level 1 = 1000 BBH holdings = 1 tip per day you can send Level 2 = 5000 BBH holdings = 5 tip per day you can send Level 3 = 20000 BBH holdings = 20 tip per day you can send Level 4 = 50000 BBH holdings = 50 tip per day you can send

The tipping command is !BBH

I now set the release price of BBH to the markets daily. It is an open market so sometimes you can pick up deals when others are selling cheaper than my set price. The goal is to have 1 BBH = 1 Satoshi. I do a bit of math and get the price. If Bitcoin is stronger than Hive then the price of one BBH goes up and if Hive is strong than Bitcoin then the price goes down.
