Holozing, LEO Update and What's New With Hive Oct 21st

Well I'm jumping the gun this week and instead of my what's new with hive this week recap I normally do on Sunday I'm doing today. That's because of a what I would say is a huge new game coming out of the gate from @holozing and yes there are a number of other updates as well. Let's dive into what's new with hive this week.

Overall Growth

Things have been progressing well and it really feels like the bull market is now finally starting to kick off. All of the fund which was mainly just the SEC trying to trash and block crypto have been stopped by the courts. With that we are seeing massive growth and speculation aka hope start to set in. The image below is a classic of what many refer to and for myself I think we are just starting in on Hope.

This has sparked $BTC to hit 30k again and $HIVE is just starting to feel a little bit of that. Mainly hive at least in the history of things has always lagged behind on moves up and down. *This article is not finical advice and is for entertainment purposes only.

New Hive Game

@holozing is releasing a new game and it looks like it should be released to everyone some time in 2024. You can read the announcement and litepaper on their official post here Announcing: Holozing

The project was started by @acidyo and the team that's put together looks solid. For what little is there so far I have to say the graphics are looking good, no real bugs, login was smooth and overall it looks solid so far.

The token the game will use is called $ZING it's already set to have a number of use cases like

• Item recharges
• Crafting gear and gear upgrades
• Crafting consumables
• Cosmetics
• Tournament entry
• Progression

While there's nothing to play yet you can start to stake your own ZING tokens to get ready for it. There seems to be two core was of doing so.

The first is if you have any $POSH tokens from when this was a core project for helping spread articles on Twitter (X) will have some staking behind it.

The second is by delegating hive power to @zingtoken account in which there is a set amount of ZING to be dropped each day. Based on your share from how much hive is powered up to other people will determine how much is dropped to you.

The first drop will be happening a little later today (Saturday Oct 21st 2023)

You can login to the site with your hive account at https://holozing.com/ and you'll see a page rewards in the top menu which is where your daily rewards will show up to be claimed.

DCrops Halloween Update

DCrops had a lot of updates this year which is actully shocking being that the bear market hit a lot of places hard. It was refreshing to see a rather large update to this game. On top of that they start to do events and this Halloween event is rather solid. This is one of the first that I know of where you have to pay 250 Crop tokens to enter into it. It's a bit of game of chance but it's got a good theme and good rewards behind it. For official updates from them follow @dcrops

Personally I'm going to make sure I start doing quests as that's an area I know I've been slacking on big time.

Overall good little event from this game and as I said before the updates to it for crafting, cooking, orchards etc is a huge plus.

$LEO

Leo has been doing a lot of updates in the background. It's been a lot of fixing but the UI is starting to clean up for threads again and from what I can tell a increase in activity once again.

The biggest news is what's yet to come (at least for me) and that's the official launch of LeoAds coming Nov. 1st. Maybe just in time for the start of the bull run?

What excites me the most is if the timing of the bull market goes right on this the last year to year and a half of ad revenue that has been stock piled will also start to be cycled out back into the LEO token as buy backs and APR for users and LEO staking holders.

I honestly have no idea how it's going to go but it will put some positive pressure on the LEO token and Hive which should be a good thing. On top of that it's one of the first even methods (as far as I know) to use ad revenue to bring value back INTO the blockchain. I know I ran numbers on this a long time ago when Leo was small and only a few of us were hitting articles etc heavily to build that ad revenue. At the time it was speculated that the LeoAd buyback would be around 8% APR. Now with a increase in ads, userbase etc I'm actully expecting this to be higher at least for the first few months. However of course that's pure speculation right now.

Overall the #hive ecosystem is making moves. While they might see small right now I do believe they are going to add up in a big way.
