The Rebellion effect on DEC Token Price
Dark Energy Crystals aka DEC is a token in the splinterlands game. This is a stable coin and the value of 1000 tokens should be worth $1 but it's been a long time since when the token has not reached that price mark. The token value was very high when the sps airdrop was launched in the year 2021 but later on, it lost its value. This has been hovering around 0.7 to 0.85 dollars And even a few days back its price was $0.7 approximately.

Now there is an announcement of the upcoming booster pack edition which is going to be Rebellion. This announcement has triggered the price for DEC and now we can see some positive momentum in the token price. The price of one pack is $5 which means if you are going to pay through credits then you need to spend 5000 credits and similarly for Dec you need to spend 5000 dec. Now because the price of DEC is low so this way we can get the pack at a discounted price.
DEC Price on Rise
How an announcement can make a positive impact on the token price can be seen in the below chart because you can see that the price has started going up from the 10th of October post the announcement. When this post was published that time if we calculate the payable amount which is going to be 3.15 dollars and now we need to pay about $4.3 as of now. This is because a lot of people must be buying the Dec token now so that they can buy more packs at a discounted price because the price of DEC is considered as 1000 tokens worth $1.

DEC Trade History
Let's also have a look at the order history for dec and it is also interesting because now we can see more buyers than sellers. This simply means that the demand is on the rise for the token which is also impacting the token price appreciation and because of the increased demand the price is also on the rise. It looks like the token is soon going to make its expected price range which is one dollar for one thousand tokens. The sale will be starting on 18th October and today we have approximately six days in between.

The sale is going to be the pre-sale with some limited quantities of packs available to buy. There are some benefits for the people who buy in pre-sale as they will be getting the promotional cards for every ten packs and I believe this is a good option to go for. I was not lucky enough to get the promotional card when Rift Watcher was launched but I got a good card when the Chaos Legion pre-sale was started in 2021. I still have that powerful card with me and trying to upgrade because it is such a powerful card that everyone should have for a better gaming experience. The promotional cards are usually highly powerful and even this time the one they have shared is also following the same pattern.
I have not decided how many packs I'll be buying in presale but we'll see how it goes, anyway the sale will be live for the next 30 days so if it lasts in a few minutes then obviously no option will be left. If in case the sale lasts for some time then probably I should be able to buy some and see how many cards I to get as part of the promotion. Usually, cards are listed in the market with higher value just after the launch but if you want to buy then I suggest you wait for some time. Then you will see some better prices in the market as a buyer because a lot of people list in the market and they reduce the price to get the order fulfilment done early.

Buying the packs through DEC is the best idea in my opinion and I think people should do it so it is good for the DEC as well as for the buyer because more demand will put DEC back in the peg range. In any case, the buyer will be getting a discount on the token buy and of course, there are additional benefits as part of the presale which will also be provided to the buyer as per the eligibility criteria. This is like a great opportunity and get some fantastic deals out of the pre-sale.
Thank you

Untamed card prices fell significantly, while the Riftwatchers card prices are stable.
Yes. I checked just now and it's dropped. I don't know why but even the value of chaos legion is not grown as we have seen for untamed and dice in the past. Do you think chaos and RW price will appreciate after rebellion launch?
Prices went crazy, yeah. A bit too early for me, as I wanted to buy some DEC last week but now I think I'll wait. 😆
Ya this went pretty crazy u forgot to talk about the effect to other stuff xD. a lot of people selling other stuff cheap to get more money for rebellion maybe
I missed to buy when dec when it was 0.7 and now it's up.
I could not track anything else so can't say. what assets are those ?
o.o cl packs under a dollar many cl cards and untamed cards down bad @_@
Oh. It's really bad.. don't know if it's worth buying now

I have done nothing but lost money on all things Splinterlands... But for some reason I keep buying more. Haha! Perhaps I am a glutton for punishment!
I don't follow the game like I should to see updates. For one thing, I used to make a nice profit renting cards. Now I make almost nothing.
I can understand as I have also lost some money on different assets but still buy in Splinterlands. I hope that in the next bull market, things can be valuable. Buying with hope.
There was a time when renting was profitable not now and because of that I also stopped renting. hope it improves in future.
Do you have any idea why people stopped renting? I wonder what changed. It seemed like it happened overnight. I did notice that they started charging to even put cards up for rent.
Yes, because cards are available for cheap prices and instead of rent they can buy. There was more card supply than demand and this crashed the prices and also the rental market.
I understand that you were not updated on what's going on and all that happened in a few months. Later CHAOS Legion packs were burnt but by that time damage was done. Hope it improves in future so that once again there is demand in rental market.
The weird thing is that most of the cards I was renting before were pre chaos. I do feel we got a little screwed with the number of Chaos packs printed. I bought hundreds when they came out.
It actually best and hopeful for Hiver's who perhaps haven't been experienced the DEC $0.7-$0.8 market price .
Directly compare to what might be the DEC current sale price.
This great , thanks for the knowledge.
