South Atlantic Coast Lines : Ibeno Beach

Hello friends how are you doing hope you all had a lovely weekend just like me over here having some great time in Ibeno beach ⛱️.

So it all started on 13th of this month when i,my family and friends left the eastern part of the country Nigeria on our way to Akwaibom State,Ibeno beach.

The Journey Begins
Waking up very early with my bags all packed i was headed to the picked up points waiting for the buses to come pick us up.

This was my outfit for the road some baggy jeans with top and come versace crocs.

The buses arrived shortly and to my surprise their was a convoy of 5 hummer buses all filled with people.

I got the seat no 2 and was seating very close to the driver

And off we left,the journey was supposed to take about 2 hours plus or maybe 3 hours.
I was so happy cause i love to travel alot and finally got some free time to be on the road once more.

About an hour of continuous driving and passing through villages and vegetations left and right it was like we were getting no where.

We got past some bus stops and stop over and places like the iwukem motor park which we got pass first and the DAKKADA roundabout.

Getting to the first stop of the ride was at a checkpoint and so far we have been moving swiftly through most checkpoints but not awthis one.

It was The Federal Road Safety team of my country that stopped and the were looking for some bribe but was later sorted out.

Not long we arrived at EKET a local government very close to the beach

And now i began to see bodies of water all over the place,before getting to our final destination we crossed over 8 different bridges in the local government of EKET

During the journey i was trailing my friend who was in another bus as the left earlier than us and the have almost arrived at the beach

Next Stop:Ibeno Tourist Beach
Not long about 50 minutes to an hours ride more we finally arrived at the beach.

Finally the long awaited moment is here as we have arrived at the beach with everyone thrilled with fun and amazed by the wonderful waves moving back and fort.

There were so many things to do and i just couldn't wait to dive right in
I started off with a quick tour around the beach checking the place out.

Not long the next stop was the water the salty Atlantic ocean which was massively big but still i wanted to have a taste of it.

Kept swimming for hours non stop till i finally stopped to admire the horse which i wanted to ride as well their was some fee for a ride on the horse which was not much as low as 0.6 USD for a ride.

Was feeling like a cowboy 🤠 😅😅

It wasn’t long before night time fell upon us and then the real fun was about to start,as night time came the beach became even more crowded with people and lots of different foods.

Freshly caught fishes and snails crabs and so many more with drinks of different brands both soft and alcoholic too.
It felt almost like a party 🥳.

I couldn't help but notice the beautiful how beautiful the moon was,it was a clear full moon without any clouds and i did something special for my friend named martha writing her name on the beach sand as she couldn't come along with me.

With that the day was almost done with as i was so tired i was ready to head back to the hotel where i lodged and would be leaving the next day.

It was a wonderful experience seeing new things and getting to try some new food aswell and i am so happy i got to share it with you friends.
