5 minute freewrite 2998 prompt crystal ball

I had an eye doctor appointment today, my sister took me to it. I have had Amblyopia in my right eye all of my life. I can see light around the edges, but the rest is black. For the last three months, light has been bothering it. I told him that when the light is on to my right, it bothers me, so I hold my hand up to block it. He told me my right eye has pulled more to the right, and that is causing it. He also said I had a growth on it, but he was not concerned about it or the cataract it has.

I have had my eyes dilated many times, and it has never bothered me afterward. This time light bothers me. My husband said it has always bothered him. Maybe it was because he put three different kinds of drops in them, one was to check the pressure, one to dilate, and for some reason, he put what he called a dye in them. My left eye has not had much change, which is a good thing. I only need reading glasses.

He lectured me on not wearing glasses all of the time to protect the one good eye. I am not wearing glasses if I do not need them. I wear sunglasses on the river and in a car, but not going to wear them around the house.

Doesn't this picture look like it was taken through a crystal ball? I wish I had one back before I hurt my back. Having to move the plants around has been hurting where it is keeping me up at night. The only way I get relief is to bring my knees up to my chest and sleep in a ball. I have been doing this for a few days, and now my right knee is bothering me. Today, I could not kneel down to collect Rudy's food. I had to stand and bend down, which made my back hurt more.

The weatherman now says our low will be 26 with a wind chill of 17. By now, it does not matter how low they drop the temperature, it is going to be too cold! It was supposed to be in the low 40s this morning, but it was 34 at my house, and we had ice. They are calling for snow on the west coast, straight across from me, I do not know why we will not have snow. I am not sure how it works, but maybe it is going to be too cold here for snow. I know I should not complain compared to what is going on up north, but damnit, this is Florida!!!!!
