Alien Art Hive

Sometimes my only thought is to seize hold of a battleaxe and
cave in the wall so that the flames of color can erupt.

Only can I then step into a place where sense explodes into a melting pot.

No rhyme or reason exists there.

A place where my consciousness is laid bare and my thoughts melt
into smouldering aroma of bold and dramatic colors.

In this place is where creativity lies.

It boils up and threatens to spills over.

I'm full of it.

I must spew up so that I can descend and disappear into the abyss.

Finally, I immerse myself in the soothing knowledge that I have reached the trough.

I rise slowly, purposefully.

For the impression hovers, within my grasp.

Then sometimes I want to hide away. Go to that restful space where my mind is blanketed in peace and serenity. I open a book. Flip the pages. Then shut it abruptly. Timing is not right.

I then close my eyes and snuggle against the duvet. My mind is devoid of color. But slowly, it creeps up. Cream; beige; ivory.

I pause. No more.

The knot tightens at the nape of my neck, then
entangles me until the throbbing consumes my thoughts.

It's started. No turning back.

My nose flares as heightened senses thwart off fragrances,
odors, lights illuminating, and glaring screens.

I must rest before the dreams of chaos take root and devour my thoughts.

For my current mixed media design, I drew inspiration from a contrast in thoughts as to my methods when I approach my desire to create projects. In this design, I used a mixture of stable diffusion, pure fractals I designed in the adanced fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X, and free-sourced images.

I utilized Canva, my design program, to blend the different type images. I leave with you my procedures which began with a blank, white canvas. I then added layers of elements in accordance with my upgraded Annual Pro Membership that includes tools to remove backgrounds, resize, filter, duplicate, and reposition items as required.

resized texture image to fit entire canvas;
added flower background; duplicated to place on each side;
added female; removed background, then repositioned in center;
added a single-color frame with birds for a clearer view;
added mushrooms; removed background; then positioned;
added the canine; removed background, then positioned.
adjust all images, then completed project.

Thanks so much @gen-quimba for your visit and kind compliment for my mixed media project. When you blend different type images, you must have a design program, such as PhotoShop. I use Canva to blend my images. Also, other programs allow you to manipulate photos to remove backgrounds, remove part of the images, etc. The most important item to note is that if the image is not one you own, the must be selected from a site that offers images for free for commercial use. The reason for the "commercial use" is that you will be using the images that belong to someone else to receive rewards.
