I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #362 - Very Useful Hive Websites - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Monday, July 24, 2023
I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
In my 1 year, 10 months, and 2 days on Hive, there are several very useful websites that I've come to rely on and use regularly. Some of these sites I use multiple times per day, while others have their use to me when I have specific things to do. Most who have been here for a while will likely already know many, or all of them. My intention for mentioning them here is more for those that have arrived on our Blockchain more recently.
I tend to split my Hive time between many websites, front-ends, and applications, as each one provides some information or benefit that others do not, or allows me to do things more easily than others do. Before I get into these various useful sites, I want to mention the two main Hive sites/front-ends that I use most of the time. I use PeakD (both the release and the beta sites) to write posts and do most of my token management, and Ecency (both the website and the Android app) for notifications, comments, replies, reblogging, Ecency Point boosts, and voting. I've begun to share posts on Threads daily now, too, though its bugs annoy me a bit.
Now on to some of my go-to Hive sites.
Hive.io - This is an excellent Hive information site to help newcomers orient themselves a bit.
Hive.vote - This is the site to use for setting up auto-vote for particular accounts, for joining/creating/managing curation trails, for seeing who has auto-voting set up for your account, and the like.
HiveBlocks - This site provides a good bit of useful information on our accounts.
HiveBuzz - HiveBuzz gives hordes of useful information on our accounts, including our badges and milestones accomplished, as well as our ranking comoqred to otherd using a great many possible criteria.
HiveStats - HiveStats is similar to HiveBlocks, but displays more information and metrics on our accounts.
Hive Engine - This site is one of the main front-ends for Hive Engine, and provides many excellent tools for token management, including the ability to claim tokens and cancel unstake orders.
Tribaldex - This is the second main interface for Hive Engine, and also provides many very useful token-management tools, including the ability to work with diesel/liquidity pools.
BeeSwap - BeeSwap is another excellent Hive-Engine front-end, which also allows us to work with diesel/liquidity pools (and provides more information on them).
HiveHub Market - This is the place to go to instantly swap between HIVE and HBD.
USwap - This is the cheapest way to transfer between layer-1 and layer-2. The minimum to transfer is 1 HIVE/SWAP.HIVE.
Engage - This is a fantastic site for managing comments, mentions, and replies. This is what I use every day to do my comment moderation for @aliveandthriving.
There are several other websites that I could mention (and I probably will at some point), but this is a good list of the sites that every hiver should know. If you have any questions about any of these sites, or you are aware of another super-useful site that I didn't list here, please mention it in the comments!
One year ago today, my then-partner Kai broke up with me for someone else, five days before my 50th birthday. As many of you who have followed me know, these posts began as a way for me to deal with and communicate the pain, grief, and the extreme inner challenge that I was experiencing. Over the course of the past year I definitely went through what I'd call a dark night of the soul, most of which I expressed here, and then came out on the other side as I moved back to GaiaYoga Gardens 9 months and 2 weeks ago. I've been sitting with this since yesterday. My heart still feels pretty broken, but otherwise I'm fine, and still always very grateful.
I finished and published the previous iteration of this post yesterday while in the Leadership Council meeting yesterday. After the LC meeting, I returned to the Flow House to finish my Hive catch-up and tasks, which I was able to do by about 4:30PM. After leaving the Flow House, I sharpened my machete and used it to clear along various trails for a while, until I had to stop to go make myself food before the community Logistics meeting at 6:30PM. The meeting ended around 8PM, and I made my way back to the Flow House to dive into my evening round of Hive catch-up and tasks, which I finished early once again, finally going to sleep around 10PM.
I woke up around 1:30AM this morning, unable to sleep, so I used my time to do a round of Hive catch-up and tasks, then I went back to sleep around 3:30AM until about 9AM (hence me being slightly late with this post). I've been working on Hive all morning, including writing this post. It's now just after 1:30PM, so it's time to end this incarnation of this post, so that I can do another round of Hive catch-up and tasks, before land work later. I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow morning! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
