Moment of Engagement

The power of engagement is still underestimated. We fly through each other's publications, sometimes without noticing the brilliants under our feet. Diamonds under our noses. One of them every day provides at least some food for thought. Or a hint for a post. Or hope for the future.

It happens to me every time I take my time and allow time for what I'm reading to pass through me a bit. In essence, I hold it in to myself in this way, to understand or feel it more. This is very important, because we live it. So why not do it properly?

But it doesn't always happen that way.

But it's very important, because everyone feels differently. Each is on his own mountain and looks from it completely differently than I do from my valley. We both have something to show and tell each other. And we both have something to learn. I'm sure we do.

If you don't rush for a tick...

For an upvote or a few tips.

Do you notice how people lose their reality if they take off fast and shut themselves off from the past or the world they've lived half their lives in?

Not all do. And it is those who remain themselves under all circumstances that strike the most. They speak more vividly and better. Feel more and live more fully.

Have you seen the way he acts in life? On the subway, on the lawn, or an interview on a late night show. He gives life in any place or condition. In any moment. He sees life and shows it without doing anything at times.

I see it this way...

And here at Hive, I come across some amazing people who may not be visible yet. It's possible that's what they really want. Or maybe it's just not in their principles to go over their heads for basic truths. Or golden rules that not everyone understands or accepts.

We often just pretend without even realizing it.

Just be alive and shine as best you can! Sincerely, at least try. You'll be surprised at the results.

So here we always have something to learn from each other. It's enough to be considerate, sincere and not rushed.

Life is short at 100 kilometers per hour.

And everything is blurry. It's a bad shot. No?

Engagement can sometimes be a smiley face if it has a story. Support can also be in two sincere words if you feel. Both the situation and these people.

It's easy if you understand, and in the moment catch yourself at that moment.

At least sometimes.

Otherwise, what's the point of it all?

Gas to the floor, whistling in your ears, intoxication from euphoria, and you're there. And there's hardly anyone around.

As always, it's a conversation with myself first. I often go full speed myself, so these words are my brake or limiter. It's not my first or last.

But we're just people. We are alive!

We had to take these photos by climbing the fence to get the other fence out of view. We called it the graveyard of old ships. If it wasn't a protected area, I would have been there first).

Since today is Engagement Day, I'm going to share the posts that impressed me and made my memories. There were actually a lot of them, but I chose 3 as always. There's that magic number three again. ⬇️

Sometimes it’s like this. I come here, throw some upvotes while break at work lasts and go back to work.

Other days I read and engage to my hearts desire.

And there are days that are so empty, I feel like I can’t even read or interact, cause whatever comes out is pointless.

Still… if I want to engage, your posts are one of the firsts I head to 💙

I should really look at Hive from your perspective, but some days it feels like a chore I don’t wanna do. I go from intense interaction to zero interaction, rather than keeping in nice and balanced.

!HUG is a very new command. I found out about it from a friend, so not sure where to read, but if you go over your limit it usually show you how many you need per each level. Everyone can send at least 1 even if they have 0 HUGs in the wallet.

I have been inspired by this post to look for more posts to engage with every day. I do tend to rush through my tasks and not really sit with anything for very long. I get too focused on checking things off my list and getting them out of my hair.

Yes, yes, yes. Most of the time I do, too. Very often. I think we all fly somewhere every day. But I noticed this peculiarity in myself when I started stopping for at least a few seconds. And I loved it). Now I practice it all the time.

I remember when I was beginning to write my thoughts on different things on HIVE... I got maybe 1-2 "thanks" comments, but nothing more than that... After a while, I read someone's else post where the author said that he was inspired by one of my posts to do it! It was a pleasant surprise as that person never commented on my posts...

You never know who is reading your posts... If it can help someone, do it without thinking too much!

Yes, I remember my first feeling, too, when someone mentioned that I had inspired his post. Truth be told, it still motivates me to write and do even better.

Yes. Spot on! Funny. I often say life is moving too fast and I can't keep up. And then often find it's me that's barreling along. But, I think, there are times when life is busier than usual as well.

It feels as though the year is full speed ahead for many of us right now. A sign of the times, perhaps. :(

Not sure what the solution is... I sometimes don't even eat breakfast, lunch or shower until evening and I still can't seem to get everything done that I need to.

...

and we do miss so much great connection. Modern lifestyle. Hmpf. Not sure we've thought it through fully.

Food for thought. 💓
