Alive & Thriving Goals Monday : Lunar New Year Eve 🎉|| AATYr6 || Prompt A Day 😊

Heya all 🎉 I'm back after my brief weekend break 😆 tonight we welcome the lunar new year.. year of the fire horse 🐴

I received this nian gao (we call it tikoy locally) from the boss before the weekend. It's supposed to be sliced into tiny rectangular pieces, dipped in egg, then fried till brown in color. I didn't bother to cook tonight though. I guess I will get around to it since I'm the only one who will be eating this. 😅

Saturday steps were pretty good. I'm just glad I am able to reach my daily target steps. 😅 No secret but I do begin each day with an intent to hit my target.

I managed to cook my intended lunch for the week yesterday. It's pork sukiyaki with frozen mixed veggies in tomato sauce. 😋 All I need is reheat cooked rice and that's lunch for me. I usually cook for around three or more servings. 😆 Then in the afternoon, I went to the neighborhood 7-11 convenience store and bought bread and some sandwich meals (my dinner).

I did struggle a little with my steps today 😅 I finished work later than usual so my daily routine was sort of thrown out of order. I managed to catch up thankfully. Whew! I'm not sure if I'd hear fireworks when midnight arrives but the celebrations in my area are happening in the neighborhood mall and also near the Jones Bridge. Nope, I'm staying home where it's really quiet and I totally love that. 😆

Fascinating that I'm still featuring quotes on love. 😅 However, I'd say this can apply not only to a partner but also to family members. In my case, I think of this as applicable to me and my daughter. It's about being in sync with our vision and goals in life. 💞 When we work together, then we'll get to achieve more. It takes a lot of communication though, even if we are rather apart for a couple of years now. 😆

I'm back for another week of Hive goals tracking. Wow I'm actually halfway to my goal of 16K HP. I guess that's 'coz we're getting mostly HP as rewards. I think my HBD savings goal would be delayed for the moment. 🤔 I'm still aiming for 300 HBD.

For my Rising Star game, I'm aiming to own at least 2K cards. I think right now I have over 1.8K, and I plan to buy slowly to also add to my number of fans. I have completed my Valentine's mission and got the special cards.

I'm also growing my diesel pools slowly. I focus mostly on the three I'm tracking, but I do have a few more that I'm growing slowly and surely.

We are halfway through the month now. Well, it's the shortest month so what do we expect, huh? 😅 Twelve more days and we will be saying good-bye to February...
