Alive & Thriving Goals Monday : A Week into the New Month || AATYr7 || Prompt A Day 😊

Wow we're now a week into this new month. Pretty soon we'll be saying good-bye to it. 😆 Seriously, I need a pause or slow motion button. 😛 All right last time I mentioned about our overnight trip to Baguio City, the summer capital. Well it was rainy the entire time we were there so it was even cooler. It's like someone activated an outdoor cooling system. Can't complain as I have endured most of the year in heat in Metro Manila. 😅

Thing is, my daughter wanted to go there mainly for food trip. Plus a visit to some specialty shops. Strawberry Bistro was our first stop. We went there for late lunch. Yup, I needed to climb up a few steps up but glad I could manage.

Turns out it was right across from Wright Park. I remember this park from long ago. This was where we enjoyed horseback riding. I, however, do not recall the hotel right across from it. Must have been a new addition, but I have not been to Baguio in decades.

Entrance to this hotel cafe. The light was too bright on the logo. We ordered some really yummy food that I could not recall to the detail anymore. I just know we had their version of ube sinigang (tamarind broth) and kare-kare. 😋

Dining area is huge. We chose this open area that has natural lighting, although it is covered with translucent roofing. We watched the rain as we enjoyed our warm dishes. 😁 This was the first of our six stops for the first day there.

I'm totally here for the photos of autumn esp. from other parts of the globe that have four seasons. It's my favorite season, although we do not have it here. 😅 I just love how nature changes its color and highlights many beautiful landscapes with the colors of fall. So yeah, I'm excitedly looking forward to what you will all be sharing soon. 😆
