My interest in blockchains began many years ago, when I began trading on Poloniex. At that time, however, I had no real understanding of exactly why blockchain technology was so revolutionary. When I discovered Bastyon (then Pocketnet) back in February of 2021, I began to get and understand the wonders of an immutable, decentralized blockchain. I came across Hive a bit later in 2021, in September, and what I found deeply enthralled me, so I dove in deep to learn and understand everything that I could about Hive, about other blockchains, and about blockchain technology in general.

After the hostle and bostle of the day's life activities, I find time to relax and play some game with my little boy, and he is really enjoying it all. Kids care and and upbringing can be very demanding and challenging but the quality time spent together can be very rewarding.

Don't let your fear consume you by @leemah1

Your greatest enemy is your fear, your fear will become your weakness and it will eventually consume you if you don't know how to face it, it will control you the way anyhow just don't allow it. Your trauma may haunt you but just know that you are stronger than your past. The moment you face it you have already overcome and it only mean one thing, FREEDOM.

Another Restful Friday by @hafiz34

My Friday started with performing the Fajr prayer at the mosque, Alhamdulillah. Then, I recited Surah Al-Khaf and completed more than half of the chapter. I completed the rest of the Surah on returning home. Then, I talked with my mother. I skipped the morning sleep on Friday. I worked on the laptop until my son woke up.

Relaxed Saturday : Long Rest at Last by @iamraincrystal

Enjoying a long weekend at home is amazing. 😂 It's not often that I get long breaks, so I feel great this weekend. For a change, I did not schedule doing anything other than my regular chores. It feels good to be lazy this time around. 🤣

I might need to create another test Hive account just to perform the experiment, which involves publishing about 20 comments using #Ecency under one of its own comments to see if it will show up on the Ecency Daily Leaderboard. 🤔🤯😅

That's why I really think that creating another test Hive account just to perform such experiment won't be worth the time and effort (and 3 HIVE for claiming an Account Creation Token). 🤯💸😅

Those Hive accounts with lots of Resource Credits (normally from high amounts of Hive Power) can create new Hive accounts about once every at least 5 days without spending HIVE tokens. 🤔

Hive community accounts can't be created from the usual Account Creation Tokens used to create normal Hive accounts though. 😅

Once every 5 days is a pretty good cadence. I have the option in the Hive Keychain app to auto-claim account tokens, but I haven't enabled it yet because I don't want it to drain all my RC. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I suggest that you try out claiming an Account Creation Token using your Resource Credits at least once, so that you know if you will indeed run out of RC whenever you claim an ACT. 🤔 Your RC right now is exactly at 100% despite your heavy activity here on Hive daily, so I don't think you would run out of RC just became you claim an ACT. 🤯😅

OK, I'll set it to auto-claim tokens, and I'll keep an eye on my RC. Where do see when they are claimed, and also where do you see how many that you have? I don't know anything about them, not even how to use them...lol! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I see how to claim Account Creation Tokens using Resource Credits and how many ACTs you have if you log in to your own Hive account at your #PeakD wallet page and click the dropdown menu button at the right side of the "Unstake" button near "Staked HIVE - Hive Power (HP)". 🤯🤓

I think that only those Hive accounts which have either have enough Hive Power to claim an Account Creation Token (roughly 5,000 HP) or already have an ACT (either from burning HIVE tokens or RC) can see such dropdown menu on the #PeakD wallet. 🤔🤯🤓

If you get an Account Creation Token from burning HIVE (which requires 3 HIVE right now according to Hive Witnesses), then you will definitely see that option. 🤔🤓😏

While your owned Hive Power is already 8,260, roughly half of it is delegated away, so you won't have enough Resource Credits yet to claim an Account Creation Token for free. 🤔🤯😅

I think that every time you increase your Hive Power, you will delegate about 50% of it soon enough, so you will need another 8,000 to 10,000 HP to successfully claim an Account Creation Token from your Hive account's Resource Credits. 🤔🤯😅

It's likely (but not guaranteed) that when the price of the HIVE token shoots up (let's say $1 each), then the Resource Credit cost of claiming Account Creation Tokens will be significantly lower (let's say only 4,000 Hive Power worth of RC required). 🤔🤓😏

The actual Resource Credit cost of claiming an Account Creation Token depends on the number of Hive accounts that have recently claimed ACTs using RCs. 🤓 Since it's likely that relatively less HIVE gets powered up and more HP gets powered down when the price of HIVE increases (significantly), less RCs become available overall, which means less RCs can be used to claim ACTs which finally means that fewer Hive accounts claim ACTs. 🤯🤯😅

I haven't calculated the cost of claiming an Account Creation Token using Resource Credits when the price of the HIVE token was at its All-Time High (about $3.4 each), which whose RC cost is probably at its All-Time Low. 🤔🤯😅

Hive is a superior blockchain in many respects, so I have no doubt that it will go up markedly. Of course, using debt-based fiat currencies to measure the value of Hive assets is pretty ridiculous, since Hive's assets are more intrinsically and inherently valuable, based as they are on our own human value. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

You saying "debt-based" reminded me that Hive-Backed Dollars (HBD) can also be considered as "debt" on the blockchain, though others say that it's just a (very) simplistic view of the HBD token. 🤔🤯🤓

It would make more sense to have gold-backed HIVE, but the only issue with that is a small and slow-replenishing asset backing an infinite asset might run into problems, HIVE-backed PEPE sounds good! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Yes, if you trace transactions on the Hive blockchain. 🤔🤯 Some may say that those PEPE tokens that came directly from the PEPE frog (without any intermediately) are worth more than those which jumped/hopped through a lot of Hive accounts first. 🤯🐸😆😅

In the case of Bitcoin, those BTC that are newly minted from Bitcoin wallets without any prior transaction are generally worth significantly more than those BTC that got transferred across many wallets. 🤓 The same goes for BTC from wallets from some popular people that have widespread support. 😏

I thought you are already aware that crypto wallets that are tagged for "illegal" or "suspicious" activity have their coins or tokens deemed worth less than those that came from "clean" wallets (especially those wallets used only once for mining and then selling the mined coin/token and not reusing the wallet again). 🤔🧘‍♂️🤯🤓
