Curry up and Eat! Malai Kofta!

How are you all?

In my home, guests are coming for lunch today.First I was thinking what to make so that they can enjoy full food in full mood. There are lots if dishes which I can make and serve but I thought to make something differ than usual meal.

I am from Rajasthan and the guests are from Uttar Pradesh. They usually makes normal Food,and insisited me too make simple and normal food .
Then I decided to make Malai Kofta and Naan.

So this dish is perfect for guests.
Its North Indian Dish and in every Restaurant this dish will be in the main course.


Serving for 6



Ingredients

💥potato- 5 boiled
💥cottage cheese-½cup
💥cashew-10 nos
💥onion-2
💥garlic-8 nos
💥tomato-4
💥cinamon stick-½
💥bay leaves-2
💥cornflour-2 tbspn
💥greenchili-2
💥coriander leaves-2tbspn
💥salt- according to the taste
💥oil- for frying
💥cream-1cup
💥kasuri Meethi- 1tspn


METHOD


1.chop onions.

2.soak cashews in hot water for about 15mins.

3.boil potatoes , peel it and keep aside.

4.now heat oil or butter in a kadhai.

5.further add chopped onions .

6.Add chopped tomatoes, garlics, greenchilies, cinamon stick clove and ginger.cook for 15 mins till they are soft.

Now grind this into a smooth paste when it cools down completely.

If its not smooth Then take we can strain it.
Keep aside.

7.now mash the potatoes.

8.grate paneer

9.then add greenchilies,

10.further add coriander leaves salt, blackpepper

11.mix all well and add cornflour.

12.make a soft dough.

13.make small ball shape size round balls.

14.Now heat oil in a kadhai .

15.place all balls in a plate .

16.Deep fry them

17.Till they are golden brown.

18.now heat a pan add ghee or oil.

19.add grated garlic, cumin seeds.

20.then add turmeric powder.

21.further add the paste.

22.stir it add salt and cook for 10 mins till the oil releases from the edges. Then add cream.

23.now add kasuri Meethi.( optional)

Off the flame.
Note - these koftas are soft so if we add them inro the gravy and serve it later then the koftas will break. So while adding the kofta in gravy we have to serve immediately.

Or we can take some gravy in bowl and then place the kofta and on top again pour gravy. Drizzle some Cream on the top.

Serve and have it with steamed steamed Rice naan or Roti.
