The Healthcare Dilemma: Pay for Check-Ups or Suffer the Consequences?

Every now and then we pay bills, rents and taxes like every month or at the end of year which is itself a tiring experience and drains all the cash you've in your bank account.

Most of us go to work everyday just to meet monthly spending after paying those bills and rents you're left with almost zero cash.

You've to pay taxes at the end that drains even more savings so what would've been the situation if we add compulsory medical check-ups in this?

Going For Medical Check-ups Every Once in a While

There are countries where people are afraid to go for medical check-ups despite of knowing they're ill and facing some sickness

It's because the economy they're living is already hurting them enough that they can't afford those medical check-ups

Like i know for a fact that in america those hospital bills are more worse than those diseases cause that's a lot expensive.

For those people paying taxes is another cost they pay for living in that economy and than those rents and bills of every month doesn't really allow to go for medical checkups every month.

People become Victims in Scams

Places where health sector is really expensive usually costs people a lot of money because those people search for less expensive treatment or appointments

And during that phase of searching they meet scammers who'll offer health insurances and all through call centers located in south Asian countries and they'll scam those people usually the older one's and I've seen it happening quite a lot.

But When it's Cheap

In my country I can say our medical sector is cheap when it comes to getting treatment there's option like government and public hospitals

People would go to government hospitals every month or week if they're feeling just high fever because they can go and see doctors without paying a penny

It's not just the Checkup that's free but the medicines that doctors prescribes you will be available at hospital most of the time for free.

There's a lot of people like all the time those hospitals are full and treating hundreds of people on daily basis for free

If it was somewhere else they'd make a lot of money from patients and it only sucks to heal someone by charging them money - right?

Governments should take care of it's own people which is possible with our own tax money that's why it's something much needed in every place, sending tax money to fund wars doesn't make sense but spending that tax money on hospital to treat patient for no money makes a lot more sense.

And even operations like surgeries or cancer treatment is free for those who don't have resources like there's way given by government to be treated, you won't lose your all hope if some major disease happened to be in you.

Wrapping Up...

It makes sense to add medical check-ups as something compulsory every once in a while if your financial condition is good enough or it doesn't cost much to go and get checked.

In the end I wonder what it's like in your place and what do you think about it. Do share your thoughts on this in the comments.

I understand that the bills for checkups are quite expensive in certain regions but factoring that our health should be utmost priority, we need not make a fuss about it. After all, if we fall sick, whether or not we have money, we'd always look for a way to sort the bills out inorder to get treated. It's a win for the individual, however we view it.

This is a harsh reality for many people around the world, where financial struggles often lead to neglect of medical check-ups, leaving people vulnerable to more severe health issues down the line.
