This is a good topic and it would be better if robots are out in place to assist in doing all the house chores. Most people who love taking house helpers wouldn't want to go for that anymore, instead would go for the robots who can take part in almost all the house chores. What do they need house help for when the robot is there to handle everything related to house chores ranging from washing clothes, and the likes.
Civilization has taken every part of the world and is still expanding seriously to take over so many things or happening.
Back in the days and even up till this moment, rush people always seek the hands of young men and women as house helpers. They can go far to other States to bring to their homes, house helpers. The reason is just to help them take care of their homes and other related matters.
Some women here in Nigeria always go to Benin Republic in search of house helpers that can help them to take care of their homes and businesses. Most times, they felt those people they are going for are safer when compared to those they knew quite well.
This woman had a house help the very first time I knew her. She took this girl from Cotonou, Benin Republic. There is an agent who always bring girls from that country to Nigeria just for house help business. He or she would be the one to negotiate the price per month and the money would be paid to this agent's account monthly until about two years. After this period, the girl will have to return to her home town and invest with the money he or she was paid. Although, there must be a certain amount the agent will remove from the money either monthly or after the end of the two years.
Most times, going for house help is dangerous. People who always go for them are at risk. They would use them to poison the home and can also cause relationships to break-up.
Choosing the path of a robot is good, but would cause one to remain lazy. Doing house chores sometimes can make one remain strong and agile. With the use of a robot, the ability to do something would be erased.
Depending more on the robot can make one remain lazy or independent or idle. Most people will love this idea, but I absolutely can't seem to believe this idea of using robots for house chores.
And if at all, I welcome this idea of robots for house chores, my remaining time will be used wisely. I will use it for exercise instead. Washing clothes is not an easy task not talking about doing other house chores.
I'm another way, this will become an avenue where those involved in house help would find it difficult to seek for jobs. So, it has advantages and also disadvantages to both the superior and the subordinates.
It will also be a relief for those who works too much at home. Also those who loves carrying out house chores will not have that opportunity to take part in house chores.
