Greetings, my dear coffee lovers. Today I’m back in the community to share with you my tasting notes on another Colombian coffee.

I’d like to share with you another Colombian coffee I’ve bought in recent weeks and really enjoyed. This time, I tried Medalla de Oro Excelso Premium, a pre-ground coffee whose packaging alone conveys a sense of identity deeply rooted in its origin and the care taken with the beans.

When I brewed it, the first thing I noticed was a mild yet enveloping aroma that filled my entire kitchen and invited me to savor the pleasure of a good coffee, with notes that reminded me of caramel and cocoa. Medalla de Oro is a coffee that invites you to take your time and enjoy it calmly, without rushing. On the palate, its flavor is balanced without being too strong, making it ideal both for those just beginning to explore the world of coffee and for those, like me, who are looking for a comforting daily cup.

As for the body, I found it to have a pleasant texture that fills the palate without becoming heavy. It’s a coffee that maintains a consistent presence from the first sip to the last.

The acidity is moderate and quite mild, allowing you to better appreciate its sweet notes without a stark contrast. For this reason, I think it’s a very versatile option, perfect for different brewing methods.

It has definitely been a satisfying experience since I started drinking it. This other brand of Colom coffee

Colombian coffee’s secret weapon? Mild acidity hiding caramel notes like a pro at poker. Now I need a bag.
