Today is 5 July 2023 and in real life, summer is in progress and began almost 15 days ago, whereas on dCrops time runs much faster because seasons only last 15 days and summer started just under 24 hours ago and will end in just over 14 days.

dCrops is a farming game developed and built on the Hive blockchain and is a game that requires little time to play and manage.
The most time-consuming phase of the game is the start of a new season, but even then I manage to complete all tasks in a maximum time of 15 minutes.

My Spring Report and My Early Summer Operativeness

I like to share my gaming activity on almost every game I have decided to invest/play and today I start by sharing the gaming results I have achieved in the spring season.

In order to check my progress on dCrops season after season, I got into the habit at the start of each season of noting down four pieces of information:

• My Account Value
• My Inventory Total Shares Value
• My total CROP tokens in my wallets (in-game wallet and Hive Engine wallet)
• My CROP Power

In this way I have a seasonal overview of the starting and ending point of my virtual farm on dCrops in each season and by comparing the ending values with the starting values I can get a compact view of the status of my investment on dCrops.

In the table below you can see the results I obtained in the spring season by comparing the differences between the final and initial values of the information I listed earlier.

At this start of the season I am happy to record a reversal of the trend from the previous two seasons in which I recorded a decrease in my Account Value.
Today in fact I record an increase in my Account Value (= Total Market Value of my NFTs):

• +27.26 SWAP.HIVE
• +1.70%

This increase in value is not enough to recover the value lost in the previous two seasons (autumn (-8.20%), winter (-4.41%)) but it is still a positive result that I am recording today.

The value in share points of my inventory increased by +15.05% and this value is slightly lower than the result I recorded in the previous season (+16.81%).

In the spring season, I increased the amount of CROP tokens in my possession by +81.01 units and this is a very small increase in percentage terms (+0.59%) which is due to a precise strategic choice on my part.

In fact the large difference in the increase between my Shares points (+15.05%) and the amount of CROP tokens (+0.59%) is the result of the event-oriented strategy that I have decided to follow in all the seasons leading up to the start of the next event organised by dCrops:

• I will only sell crops to complete quests until the start of the next event
• I will only sell all other crops during the next event in order to gain an initial advantage (more points to use in the Event Shop).

My CROP POWER increased by a very small value: +0.13% because I did not purchase any new game assets (NFTs and packs).
With my CROP POWER = 63996.93 I receive a daily reward in HIVE tokens directly in my Hive Wallet.
As you can see from the screenshot below, the last daily reward I received was 0.117 HIVE.

In the spring season I completed all seasonal quests without difficulty and I was also very lucky because for the first time since the seasonal quests were introduced in the game I didn't have to use the Reroll function which costs 10 CROP and allows you to receive a new quest if the quest you initially received is not completeable.

As a reward for completing all spring quests I received 14 Reward Chest (click Claim Reward + Confirm on Hive Keychain).

The number of Reward Chests is not a fixed number for each player because it increases as the CROP POWER score increases.
In the following image you can see what I found inside the 14 Chests I opened today.

I have not found the Iron Ore and Gold Ore NFTs which are the most valuable NFTs that can be found inside the chests but I am still very satisfied with the seasonal reward I received because I found 7 Resource type NFTs out of the 14 chests I opened which have a market value of 6.18800 HIVE = $1.92447

The first operation I perform at the start of each season and always do before planting my seeds in my Land plots is requesting new quests.

If you are a new player always remember to request the new quests before planting the seeds for the new season because otherwise you might have a lot of difficulties completing the quests ;)

In the image below you can see the 7 new quests that I have to complete in the summer season if I want to receive another seasonal reward.

The quests can be of three types:

• Sell
• Harvest
• Plant

In this new start of the season I didn't have the same luck as in the previous season, but I was still lucky because I only received 1 quest which I cannot in any way complete during the summer season.

In fact the fifth quest asks me to: "Plant 3 Chamomile seeds".

I cannot complete this quest because I only have 2 Chamomile seeds in my NFT collection while I need 3.

I must necessarily use the Reroll feature, spend 10 CROP and hope to receive an easily completed quest.

I received a quest that I could easily complete because I have 21 Watermelon seeds in my collection.

Before moving on to the task of planting summer seeds in my Lands plots, I completed all Sell type quests.

I sold 1 Cucumber (1 star), 3 Parsley (2 stars), 3 Tomato (1 star) and 3 Strawberry (2 stars) and received 104 Shares points that will allow me to receive a quantity of CROP tokens at the end of the summer season.

The next step in the management of seasonal quests is the Planting operation from the Farm section of dCrops.

In the summer season I can plant 103 NFTs of seed type + 4 Mystery Seeds.

Before planting the seeds I decided to use 4 boosters:

• 1 Ferti-Plus booster to increase the probability of receiving higher quality crops (2-3 stars) in my legendary land Fairy Garden.
• 3 booster Speed-Gro to speed up the production of my 9 seeds that have the ability keeps producing till season ends:
  • 4 Blueberry seeds
  • 2 Tomato seeds
  • 3 Rice seeds

In the following image you can see all seeds I planted today.

In my previous post on dCrops I shared my intention to also start playing the other game modes on dCrops: Crafting and Cooking.

Unfortunately, I have not yet had time to make calculations and evaluations to choose the best NFTs to produce and I hope to be able to do so before the end of the summer season.

I also have to decide how to optimise my collection of NFTs because I have too many Lands compared to the amount of seed type NFTs in my possession and I often find myself with many free land plots unused for many days during the seasons.

In every blockchain-based game I play I like to monitor the value of the game's tokens, and before I conclude the writing of this post I will show you the prospectus I created to monitor the trend of the value of the CROP token season after season.
In the table below you can see the calculation of the difference in value (in dollars and in HIVE) of the CROP tokens over a time interval of 16 days (21 June 2023 - 5 July 2023).

In a time interval of 14 days HIVE shows a positive and close to 10% increase in value: +8.04% compared to the dollar value it had 14 days ago.

The CROP token recorded:

• +4.77% compared to the dollar value it had 14 days ago (Highest Bid Market Value)
• -0.44% compared to the dollar value it had 14 days ago (Lowest Ask Market Value)

The past 14 days have been positive days especially for the value of the HIVE tokens while the CROP token maintains a relatively stable value against the dollar considering the Highest Bid and Lowest Ask values it had 14 days ago.

Oggi è il 5 luglio 2023 e nella vita reale è in corso l'estate che è iniziata da quasi 15 giorni mentre su dCrops il tempo scorre molto più velocemente perchè le stagioni durano solo 15 giorni e l'estate è iniziata da poco meno di 24 ore e terminerà tra poco più di 14 giorni.

dCrops è un gioco di farming sviluppato e costruito sulla blockchain di Hive ed è un gioco che richiede poco tempo per essere giocato e gestito.
La fase di gioco che richiede più tempo è proprio l'inizio di una nuova stagione ma anche in questo caso io riesco a completare tutte le operazioni in un tempo massimo di 15 minuti.

Il mio Report primaverile e la mia operatività di inizio estate

Mi piace condividere la mia attività di gioco su quasi tutti i giochi a cui ho deciso di investire/giocare e oggi inizio condividendo i risultati di gioco che ho ottenuto nella stagione primaverile.

Per controllare i miei progressi su dCrops stagione dopo stagione ho preso l'abitudine ad ogni inizio di stagione di annotarmi quattro informazioni:

• My Account Value
• My Inventory Total Shares Value
• My total CROP tokens in my wallets (in-game wallet and Hive Engine wallet)
• My CROP Power

In questo modo ho un mini-quadro informativo stagionale del punto di partenza e del punto di arrivo della mia fattoria virtuale su dCrops in ogni stagione e dal confronto tra i valori finali e i valori iniziali posso ottenere una visione compatta dello stato del mio investimento su dCrops.

Nel prospetto seguente puoi vedere i risultati che ho ottenuto nella stagione primaverile confrontando le differenze tra i valori finali e iniziali delle informazioni che ti ho elencato prima.

In questo inizio di stagione sono contento di poter registrare una inversione di tendenza rispetto alle due stagioni precedenti in cui avevo registrato una diminuzione di valore del mio Account Value.
Oggi infatti registro un aumento di valore del mio Account Value (= Valore totale di mercato dei miei NFTs):

• +27.26 SWAP.HIVE
• +1.70%

Questo aumento di valore non è sufficiente a recuperare il valore perso nelle due precedenti stagioni (autunno (-8.20%), inverno (-4.41%)) ma è comunque un risultato positivo che registro oggi.

Il valore in punti Shares del mio inventario è aumentato del +15.05% e questo valore è leggermente inferiore al risultato che avevo registrato nella stagione precedente (+16.81%).

Nella stagione primaverile ho incrementato il quantitativo di CROP tokens in mio possesso di +81.01 unità e questo è un incremento molto piccolo in termini percentuali (+0.59%) che è dovuto ad una mia precisa scelta strategica.

Infatti la grande differenza di incremento tra i miei punti Shares (+15.05%) e il quantitativo di CROP tokens (+0.59%) è il risultato della strategia event-oriented che ho deciso di seguire in tutte le stagioni che precederanno l'inizio del prossimo evento organizzato da dCrops:

• venderò solo i crops per completare le quests fino all'inizio del prossimo evento
• venderò tutti gli altri crops solo durante il prossimo evento in modo da ottenere un vantaggio iniziale (un numero maggiore di punti da utilizzare nell'Event Shop).

Il mio CROP Power è aumentato di un valore molto piccolo: +0.13% perchè non ho acquistato nuovi assets di gioco (NFTs e packs).
Con il mio CROP POWER = 63996.93 ricevo ogni giorno una ricompensa in token HIVE direttamente nel mio Hive Wallet.
Come puoi vedere dallo screenshot seguente, l'ultima ricompensa giornaliera che ho ricevuto è stata di 0.117 HIVE

Nella stagione primaverile ho completato tutte le quests stagionali senza difficoltà e sono stato anche molto fortunato perchè per la prima volta da quando sono state introdotte le quests stagionali nel gioco non sono stato costretto a utilizzare la funzione Reroll che ha un costo di 10 CROP e permette di ricevere una nuova quest se la quest ricevuta inizialmente non è completabile.

Come ricompensa per aver completato tutte le quests primaverili ho ricevuto 14 Reward Chest (click su Claim Reward + Confirm su Hive Keychain).

Il numero dei Reward Chests non è un numero fisso per ogni giocatore perchè aumenta con l'aumentare del punteggio CROP POWER.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere cosa ho trovato all'interno dei 14 Chests che ho aperto oggi.

Non ho trovato gli NFTs Iron Ore e Gold Ore che sono gli NFTs di maggior valore trovabili all'interno dei forzieri ma sono comunque molto soddisfatto della ricompensa stagionale che ho ricevuto perchè ho trovato 7 NFTs di tipo Resource su 14 chests aperti che hanno un valore di mercato di 6.18800 HIVE = 1.92447$

La prima operazione che effettuato ad ogni inizio stagione e che effettuo sempre prima di piantare i miei semi nei miei Land plots è richiedere le nuove quests.

Se sei un nuovo giocatore ricordati sempre di richiedere le nuove quests prima di piantare i semi per la nuova stagione perchè altrimenti potresti avere molte difficoltà a completare le quests ;)

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le 7 nuove quests che devo completare nella stagione estiva se voglio ricevere un'altra ricompensa stagionale.

Le quests possono essere di tre tipi:

• Sell
• Harvest
• Plant

In questo nuovo inizio di stagione non ho avuto la stessa fortuna della stagione precedente ma sono stato comunque fortunato perchè ho ricevuto 1 sola quest che non posso in alcun modo completare durante la stagione estiva.

Infatti la quinta quest mi chiede di: "Plant 3 Chamomile seeds".

Non posso completare questa quest perchè nella mia collezione di NFT ho solo 2 Chamomile seeds mentre me ne servirebbero 3.

Devo necessariamente utilizzare la funzionalità Reroll, spendere 10 CROP e sperare di ricevere una quest completabile facilmente.

Ricevo una quest che posso completare facilmente perchè ho 21 Watermelon seeds nella mia collezione.

Prima di passare all'operazione di piantare i semi estivi nei plots delle mie Lands ho completato tutte le quests di tipo Sell.

Ho venduto 1 Cucumber (1 stella), 3 Parsley (2 stelle), 3 Tomato (1 stella) e 3 Strawberry (2 stelle) e ho ricevuto 104 punti Shares che mi permetteranno di ricevere un quantitativo di token CROP alla fine della stagione estiva.

Il passo successivo alla gestione delle quests stagionali è l'operazione di Planting eseguibile dalla sezione Farm di dCrops.

Nella stagione estiva posso piantare 103 NFTs di tipo seme + 4 Mystery Seeds.

Prima di piantare i semi ho deciso di utilizzare 4 boosters:

Nel mio precedente post su dCrops avevo condiviso la mia intenzione di iniziare a giocare anche alle altre modalità di gioco presenti su dCrops: Crafting e Cooking.

Purtroppo non ho avuto ancora il tempo per fare calcoli e valutazioni per scegliere i migliori NFTs da produrre e spero di riuscire a farlo prima della fine della stagione estiva.

Devo anche decidere come ottimizzare la mia collezione di NFTs perchè ho un numero di Lands troppo alto rispetto al quantitativo di NFTs di tipo seme in mio possesso e mi trovo spesso con tanti land plots liberi e inutilizzati per molti giorni durante le stagioni.

In ogni gioco basato su blockchain in cui gioco mi piace monitorare il valore dei tokens del gioco e prima di concludere la scrittura di questo mio post ti mostro il prospetto che ho creato per monitorare l'andamento del valore del token CROP stagione dopo stagione.
Nel prospetto seguente puoi vedere il calcolo della differenza di valore (in dollari e in HIVE) dei token CROP in un intervallo di tempo di 16 giorni (21 giugno 2023 - 5 luglio 2023).

In un intervallo di tempo di 14 giorni HIVE registra un un incremento di valore positivo e vicino al 10%: +8.04% rispetto al valore in dollari che aveva 14 giorni fa.

Il token CROP fa registrare:

• +4.77% rispetto al valore in dollari che aveva 14 giorni fa (Highest Bid Market Value)
• -0.44% rispetto al valore in dollari che aveva 14 giorni fa (Lowest Ask Market Value)

Gli ultimi 14 giorni sono stati giorni positivi soprattutto per il valore dei token HIVE mentre il token CROP mantengono un valore relativamente stabile rispetto al dollaro considerando i valori Highest Bid e Lowest Ask che aveva 14 giorni fa.
