I have 8 Chickens Now

I’ve been breeding chickens for about a year and a half. It started as a hobby, but now I truly enjoy it. I currently have 8 chickens, including 5 hens that lay daily.

My morning was spent in the chicken coop, feeding and cleaning up after my chickens. They love the feed I mix, which combines household edible waste with factory-made products. This blend keeps them healthy and reduces waste, making my routine both sustainable and rewarding.

One thing that makes me happy is getting fresh eggs every day. I plan to buy a hen that can hatch eggs, so I can start producing DOCs myself. I believe this method will be a cheaper way to grow my flock.

There are many things I need to repair, from the coop to the roof. I plan to take things slowly and improve everything step by step. My goal is to maximize the number of chickens I can keep in my limited space. A multi-level coop might be the solution, but I’ll take it gradually.

I have a rooster that entertains me every morning with its crowing. Before dawn, the male chicken always crows loudly and wakes me up. It's like a natural alarm clock, and I enjoy hearing his voice as I start my day.

Breeding chickens is a hobby I truly enjoy. Through it, I’ve gained valuable knowledge, especially in treating sick chickens with the right medication. This experience helps me care for them better and keeps my flock healthy, making the hobby even more rewarding and educational.
