Adding Exfoliating Pads to My Skincare Routine

Happy Monday Hivers!

It's been a long time since I last used any exfoliating products on my face. I was worried because exfoliation causes the skin to peel, and I thought that might damage my skin, especially since the weather in the Philippines is extremely hot. Although I always use sunscreen, I felt it was safer to avoid exfoliating altogether.

Recently, however, I've been getting more pimples and acne. I think it's because there's a lot of dust in our garden, and my skin is allergic or sensitive to dust. Once my pimples and acne heal, they tend to leave behind dark marks (post-acne scars). That's why I decided to purchase exfoliating pads, to help speed up skin cell turnover, gradually fade the dark marks, and improve the overall appearance of my skin.

I first came across these exfoliating pads after seeing them featured by one of the Facebook vloggers I follow. What initially caught my attention was how quick and convenient they were to use. Instead of applying multiple skincare products, all you have to do is gently wipe the pad across your face.

As I became more interested in the product and learned more about its benefits, I decided to purchase it online and give it a try. I'm hoping it will help improve my skin texture and gradually fade my post-acne marks.

Finally, the package was delivered this morning. Of course, I opened it right away because I was so excited to check it out. I really like the packaging, it looks clean, sturdy, and well-designed.

When I opened the container, I noticed that it came with a tweezer for picking up the pads, which is a nice and hygienic feature. I also checked the contents and found that it contains only 40 pads. I paid ₱509.00 for it, so I do think it's a bit on the pricey side. However, the tweezer make it very easy to grab a pad without touching the others, making the product more convenient and sanitary to use.

I'll be using it for the first time tonight, and I'm really hoping it works well for my skin. I'll continue using it consistently and monitor how my skin responds over the next few weeks. Hopefully, it helps reduce my post-acne marks and leaves my skin looking clearer, smoother, and healthier.
