🌱🌳🌴Welcome to my blog🌴🌳🌱

Hello #Hivegarden. It's a pleasure to be back in this gardener challenge. I'm going with question 2.

Do you ever make a drink from ingredients from your garden? Tell us about it!

It is not only in drinks, but also in sauces, juices, and sweets.

Where I lived recently I did not have a good yard to plant, but I kept growing the seeds of fruits that I consumed, then they were given to me and with seedlings of lechosa, parchita or passion fruit, and semeruco. Those seedlings grew into adult plants under my care in pots despite lacking water, but I stored rainwater. Until I asked my son if I could plant in his yard (2020). He kindly answered me in the affirmative. Then together with my husband we went with tools to open the holes and of course my pots.

After a few months the plants began to flower, and then bore fruit.
For example, in the case of the lechosa, it was in December and by tradition in our country Venezuela the sweet is made in pieces. Of course, I consumed them in that way and meringued of the ripe ones. By the way, its consumption with some seeds improves the functioning of the stomach. As for passion fruit, I make juices.

From the fruits of the semeruco, we used them to make oatmeal cookies with sustainable jam for one of my daughter's college courses.

I have harvested in pots, tomatoes, hot and sweet peppers, these vegetables have served me to season breakfast meals and pasta sauces.
