Choosing the seeds to sow for the first weekend of March, and also, a quick tour of my seedlings for 2026! I am growing peppers, onions, tomato, eggplant, LOTS of Onions, herbs including Oregano, Basil, and more, as well as some Salad Greens. My Gardens are in New England, Zone 7a and 7b

Most of you know, I prefer to grow my own food, locally. It's healthier for my family, and for the planet. I know what goes into my foods, and what chemicals are NOT in my food. Also, It cuts down on carbon emissions, less trucking, planes, trains, and boats, to get fresh foods to my table.

And that makes me smile... better for the planet, better for my own family.

I'm so ready for spring. We have some seedlings going in the garage under lights. We are 4b/5a. I'm going to try some peach trees which are traditionally zone 5. Might as well go with the global warning and roll the dice 🙂
