Creating A Healing Place At Own Garden (May Garden Journal)
I consider gardening an investment. The results cannot be seen in an instant. It takes time, and sacrifice to see the results.
For me too, gardening is not about expecting a harvest of vegetables or fruits. More than that.
I like arranging. I like design. So I try to arrange my garden neatly. How can I arrange a small space into a neat garden with maximum results.
This May, I thought about many things for arrangement, to utilize narrow spaces. One of them is closing the top of the water channel.
I used used bamboo from construction that was thrown away in the area near my house. My husband helped me to cut the bamboo into the same length.
My husband said, I am a perfectionist woman. 🤣 well yeah, you could say that. I would interrupt him if the size was not the same length.
The result of closing the water channel in front of the house is quite good and later I can add some pots there to plant vegetables. I also want to add striking flowers to trick pests. I'm still looking for those flowers (while saving up ehehe)
Let's see the development of my plants in my mini garden! Starting from white polybags. In the white polybags there are baby green beans with a non-creeping variant.
The age of the baby green beans has entered the age of 14 days after being transplanted. I'm looking for organic fertilizer in the form of goat manure around here. In the next few days I will fertilize. I will also add plant supports.
The planting medium in the polybags looks very fertile. You can see here that the wild grass is growing well. So don't forget to pull out the wild grass.
The baby green beans plants are starting to have many branches. Whoa, I'm excited for that.
I also looked at my compost container. The kitchen waste has started to decompose and is already blackish in color.
It's just that at the top of the compost container you can still see small caterpillars working to decompose the waste.
In another container, I also continued to make compost. It was really fun to see kitchen waste being turned into something else that I would later use in my garden.
Bitter mustard greens look good and fresh a week after transplanting.
Later I will give them fertilizer because when transplanting, the planting medium was used water spinach planting medium and I haven't mixed it with organic fertilizer. Hey, grow well, please! 😊
My rental house is indeed small. You can see it yourself from the front. But I try to make it into a maximum garden. Because we don't have a parked vehicle, so I can use the vehicle parking space.
I arranged used gallons. I planted the used gallons with spinach, also water spinach.
Both of these plants are a week old after sowing. This is my first time planting spinach. I feel quite nervous. I hope this will work!
As I said at the beginning that for me gardening is not just about expecting the harvest. For me gardening is creating a Healing place. As simple as drinking coffee or tea in the garden while watching the growth of my plants.
My rental house will get the morning sun. So I will get the blessing of a beautiful sunrise.
Every morning I enjoy a beautiful view like this! While I drink tea or coffee.
Also, a healthy breakfast to fill my energy. It's all connected in this beautiful garden.

It doesn't matter how small or big the garden we have. But how to express love for that space. Happy gardening!

You did a great job! Even you have a small space you can able to have amini garden using plastic pots
We can use used plastic container for gardening 😊
yes, its a win win situation. We have our harvest and also we reduce waste
🥰
Thank you
Te entiendo perfectamente la sensación que se siente al mirar prosperar las plantas, es un estado muy sutil donde provoca quedarse contemplando el trabajo que se hace con las plantas
It was a very amazing experience my friend, gardening is really fun, not just about the results but also about the amazing experience and good for your health ❤️🙏
A good idea to cover the hole. That way, water can still seep through while providing a base for extra polybags or garden pots. I can see why the area is a healing spot. A perfect morning and evening view. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

Greetings beautiful friend! I love that you are already active in your garden. I love to see you doing your labors with so much love and passion. Wonderful that the waste is excellent fertilizer for our plants. Congratulations and a hug
It is nice to see how many thoughts and how much love you dedicate to your garden! To create your garden according to your own preferences and taste is kind of personal fulfilment. It requires creativity and diligence. And in addition the vegetables and fruits you earn are also very precious.
This is beautiful. I love reading about your garden, I love your dedication towards it
Wow this is the morning wake up that many people dream of seeing the sun rise with nature still beautiful cool.
Can't wait for your plants to grow big, it will definitely be fresher in your tiny house.
Yeah this is like a dream. 😊🌸
Absolutely. I saw a meme about this on social media today. In games, plants grow in 5 minutes, but in real life it takes months. It's the right mentality to see it as an investment. It's a pleasure to give them a little bit of attention every day and watch them grow.
Wow, i love how you make your space a realxing place to stay. Doing it with love will yield a nice result. Appealing to the eyes and warm place to stay.
You have garden in very nice place. I love to see your garden. And the mind is happy to see such a beautiful atmosphere.
That is true Ma'am @anggreklestari , gardening is one of the best investment in life, but a lot of patience needed because it takes lots of time to see the fruitful results. I really agree with you Ma'am.
But my situation about my Garden was worse because it was destroyed by flood. Well I think this is also part of challenge in life.
We can consider any place as a healing place when we establish some kind of "intimate" contact with it.
I'm glad you found yours (and it's very close to you, by the way).
I really liked that first sentence where you compare gardening as an investment, because it is like that. Time, love and patience are the ones who shape all aspects of our lives, and if you have done things right then the fruits will be wonderful. Thank you for sharing this post, everything you have done looks beautiful and very prosperous, and I was touched by that first picture, it's perfect ❤️ Have a beautiful day and keep enjoying your garden! 🙏
It's true that a garden is an investment. I like seeing the seeds you sowed yesterday starting to grow well. I also like gardening and right now I'm harvesting cayenne pepper in my garden which is 5 months old.
Whoa great for you! Congrats!
Looks really pretty your garden 😍
It all looks so beautiful. I don't think your perfectionism is a crime - you've created such a beautiful space.
