Introducing Prime Pick (The Invennium Corporation)

Fun fact: I created this post yesterday but had a computer crash with no backup for my post. So here we go again. Today I interupt my scheduled posting to bring you the breaking news of Prime Pick. You might be wondering what Prime Pick is. No worries, sit back and relax because your good ol pal @rentmoney is about to give you all the details. Prime Pick is an app that will be featured on the Genesis League Sports Platform which is powered by The Invennium Corporation, a 100% subsidiary of @Splinterlands. The same platform that hosts the game Genesis League Goals (a soccer game). Genesis League Sports (GLS for short) whitepaper can be found by clicking the following URL: https://whitepaper.genesisleaguesports.com/. Since Prime Pick is on the GLS Platform it will utilize the GLX token (GLS Governance Token). Currently Prime Pick is requesting 50M GLX tokens for 5 years from the GLS DAO (@gls.dao) to support rewards given to those who interact with Prime Pick.

Prime Pick FAQs (Source)

Q: What determines share prices?
A: Prices rise when more users buy a given outcome and fall when demand decreases.

Q: Why might I get fewer or more shares than quoted?
A: Shares are calculated at execution time (10–30 seconds after burn). Market movement during that window changes the price.

Q: What happens to burned POWER?
A: It’s permanently removed from circulation, creating a deflationary effect.

Q: How much can the burn rate vary?
A: Between 25 POWER : 1 GLX (minimum) and 500 POWER : 1 GLX (maximum), with a target of 100 : 1.

Q: ** Can I sell shares before the match ends?**
A: No. Shares are held until market resolution.

Q: What ensures the system can always pay winners?
A: Only 72 % of the total GLX reward pool is ever at risk, leaving reserves for all payouts.

I like the idea of using a dual token system for sports predictions. It’s great to see more innovation coming to the Genesis League Sports platform. Can’t wait to see how Prime Pick grows and how the rewards system works out.
