Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Got Lucky With Scattershot!

Time flies! Just completed the 154th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!

Had 4 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 4th!!

So for the final result, we were 4th out of 8 guilds and got 485 Merits and around 18 SPS! A whole bag of SPS! Decent finish! We definitely punched above our weight for this one! Let's hope we continue to maintain this good momentum for the coming brawls!

Individually, I had 4 fights this time and I won 3 of them this time! Finished 2nd within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 3 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Captain Katie and Larissa Kerato

My Gladius cards had a great day clocking the Bloodlust in this battle. I thought my opponent made a mistake by fielding a card with Taunt, which was a no no for this ruleset. Hence I had an advantage and comfortably led till the end.

Battle 2 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Bertrol Gobson

There are some battles that are just made for Quora Towershead to win and this was one of them. There was nothing I could do about it - until the game decides to give me one copy. It has been 154 brawls and more than 60 Gladius cases already. Sigh.

Opponent fled! Yay!

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Alfredo

This was a big clash because both teams put comparable lineups, except that I had one extra card. I got lucky here because the Scattershot worked in my favour while my opponent's hits were literally all scattered around. I guess it helped that I had 6 cards to spread the damage out. It could have been anyone's game so MVP is luck this time round. Lol!

So that sums up my 4 battles for this brawl! 75% win rate this time round! Or 100% if excluding battles against Quora Towershead. Lol!
