Splinterlands | BLUDGEON HUCKER Protect Ability is a Game Changer

Welcome back to another fresh new CA monster series and I guess you all are having a good day in life. Now for those of you who love to play this game on a daily basis and are serious about the chase, then wee done, as we have finished another ranked season. Right now, many of you still be resting from the overwork during the last ranked season end, but remember to claim your season end rewards and highest reached league tier reward chests while checking the battle energy bar. Right now, if we take a look at the season clock, we have around 14 days in hand, so it may feels like plenty of time, but some OG players will surely use this opportunity to use their battle energy bar strategically to earn more SPS and Glint tokens, while taking slow steps on the trophy ladder. So, be sure not to miss the fun and stay engaged on the battlefield and also focus on tournaments and brawls to boost your earnings even more.

Moving on, today I went to take a look at my only Land plot’s production update. It only comes once in a week, and I don't have any alarm set for it, thus sometime I missed clicking within the last day. Nowadays I even have even dropped the weird idea of of claiming at exact 100% and keep checking for it to reach 6 days. But this time I was late and almost with that and gladly caught it’s production just before touching 100%. I have only only piece of Land plot which grows Grain resource and is actively working for non-stop for quite a while now. Looking at its category, it is a common Land plot rarity with Natural type. It belongs to the 121-Hamford region of the great lowlands and the geography or terrain type of this land is Lake. Now, for the harvest, I received 23,037 Grain after subtracting all the expenses among which, a total of 5,172 Grain costed for taxes and another 23,507 Grain as grain cost leaving the amount I mentioned above, which was added to my Grain wallet. Now with another full Harvest, I will have more than 100k Grain, which means another visit to the Merchants and add to my existing grain-dec liquidity pool. Now let’s see if I can claim it within time.

Bludgeon Hucker

Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be showcasing another another amazing Conclave Arcana card with you all and this time, I will be focusing on the water element cards from now on. Now as you can already seen it in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Bludgeon Hucker with you all. So, if you are interested, let’s take a dive without any further ado.

The BLUDGEON HUCKER is a monster type card that was launched into the game first with the latest Conclave Arcand edition core cardset. This monster by rarity is a common type card, so you would need a total of 400 BCX cards to upgrade it to max level. This monster belongs to the Water element and it comes from the Ulund bloodline. The mana cost to use this monster in battles is 5, so you can easily choose this monster in your lineup when playing medium to high mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is Ranged and it also comes with a good combo of armour and health, along with decent speed and 3 awesome abilities at its max level, which I will be talking about later. So, let us take a further look into this card’s league wise stats and abilities below to find out more.

BRONZE

At level 3, this monster card possesses 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 4 health, along with the Sniper ability. Not only it carries some noticeable defensive stats with both armour and health, but it also gets the Sniper ability since since its initial level, which of course makes this monster a good choice for bronze league.

SNIPER - Magic and Ranged attacks target the first non-melee enemy unit behind the first position.

SILVER

As you upgrade this monster to its silver league of level 5, there it gets almost the same stats as of it previous level, i.e., 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and an increased 5 health. But however, it does get a brand new ability at this level called Slow, with which, now it can slow all the active enemy cards.

SLOW - -1 speed to all enemy units.

GOLD

When you upgrade this monster to its next league level of 8, there its stats gets quite some twisted changes if you campare, as now it gets 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed with No armour and 6 health. Yes, its health takes the next level but that doesn't mean you can just take away the armour! Bur wait, because to balance things out, this monster gets a new ability at this level called Protect with which, now it can put a layer of armour on every friendly monster including itself.

PROTECT - +2 armour to all allied units.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally when you upgrade this monster to it’s max level of 10, there its stats gets the last buff of an increased 3 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 6 health along with all those 3 abilities that I mentioned above. Apart rom the Protect ability, glad that it gets back its armour, because even 1 armour is enough to save you from the first enemy physical attack - melee or ranged attack.

Last but not least, I think this card’s stats first of all serves a great purpose in defend this unit, where the Protect ability is there to help the others. Also, its fanged attack is decent considering its mana cost, but is Slow ability makes it a special one, while the Snipe ability helping it killing down backline monsters. So overall, I think it is really a nice monster to have in your arsenal. What do you think?
