How to stiffen fabric//Como endurecer el tejido

Hello #NeedleworkMonday Today I’m sharing what I’ve been up to with my crafts. Two days ago, I stopped knitting so I could devote time to each piece, since several of them need to be stiffened.
For this step, I used white school glue mixed with water and a paintbrush, because the yarn shrinks, but this mixture stiffens it quite well, leaving the piece with the right shape. Here are the details of the process.

Para esta actividad usé pega blanca escolar con agua y un pincel, porque el hilo se encoge, pero con esta mezcla se endurecen bastante bien, quedando la pieza con la forma adecuada. Paso a dar detalles del proceso.
Busqué todos los ultimos tejidos realmente me asombré de cuantos he realizado.
Habian unos como las colitas de gatos se enrrollan y con el pegamento se estabiliza.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- School glue.
- Water.
- Paintbrush
- Knitted pieces
- Pega escolar.
- Agua.
- Pincel.
- Piezas tejidas.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
pad: double treble crochet.
pat: triple treble crochet.
aum: increases.
dism: decrease.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
dism: disminución.
pa: punto alto.
pad: punto alto doble.
pat: punto alto triple.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
- Apply the necessary amount of school glue to a lid.
- 4 tablespoons of water.
- Mix well, then use a brush to coat the fabric.
- Let it dry for several hours.
- The fabric is now hardened and ready.
- En una tapa se agrega cantidad necesaria de pegamento escolar.
- 04 cucharadas de agua.
- Mezclamos y con el picel comenzamos a impregnar nuestro tejido.
- Dejamos secar por varias horas.
- Listo el tejido endurecido.

I realize I have a lot of crocheted items, mostly keychains. I’ve made one piece every day—it’s an all-consuming passion. The hardest part is organizing and finishing the details, like sewing, attaching accessories to the pieces (such as keychains), and packing them into little bags. As I do this, I realize there are strands, tails, and petals with no defined shape. In other words, the thread gets twisted, so it needs to be stiffened with the mixture and dried. Then it’s ready to be packed.

Me doy cuenta que tengo muchas piezas de tejidos, en forma de llavero. Cada dia he realizado un tejido, es una pasión extrema. Lo mas difícil es ordenar y consolidar los detalles como coser, pegar accesorios a los tejidos como los llaveros y empacar en bolsitas. Haciendo esto me doy cuenta que existen hojas, colas, pétalos sin forma definida. Es decir, el hilo queda retorcido, amerita endurecer con la mezcla y secar. Para luego empacar.
Al hacer este inventario me doy cuenta que a algunos les faltan detalles, ademas observo que tengo mas de 80 piezas. Pero tengo otra caja de piezas guardadas. esto quiere decir que para la exhibición ferial tengo como participar, aunque aún faltan dos meses, tengo tiempo para la preparación.
Algunos artesanos me han comnetado que el accesorio como los llaveros son muy solicitados en estos eventos. Me he concentrado en ello.
